  • Publication number: 20040249705
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating real estate transactions. Various of the systems and methods provide for incorporating information about associated real estate professionals on a common interface. This association facilitates seamless processing between a potential purchaser and real estate professionals associated with various aspects of a real estate transaction. Thus, for example, a purchaser can be quickly directed from a real estate agent to a mortgage broker, or to other real estate professionals providing one or more services in relation to a property transaction.

  • Patent number: 6450452
Abstract: A reusable first stage (100) includes a booster engine system (102) for providing thrust during launch, a structural assembly (108), canards (118), jet engines (122), wings (124), elevons (126) and retractable landing gear (130). After separation, the jet engines (122) and aerodynamic control surfaces are used to return the first stage to a landing strip. The booster system (102) includes a structurally stable outer skin system such as an isogrid structure. The first stage (100) is thereby adapted for controlled descent and recovery with minimal structural enhancement or added mass.

  • Patent number: 4874943
Abstract: Gaseous ions trapped within an analyzer cell of an ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer are excited into resonance by a swept radio-frequency electric field having an envelope of trapezoidal shape. The envelope includes an onset region which ramps linearly from a zero level to a non-zero constant-amplitude level, a constant-amplitude region having the non-zero constant-amplitude level, and a termination region which ramps linearly from the constant-amplitude level to the zero level. The field has a generally constant-amplitude power spectrum and imparts relatively uniform energy to ions having natural cyclotron frequencies of interest.

  • Patent number: 4666643
Abstract: A building form into which concrete may be poured to form a column or similar structure includes a plurality of stacked form units having interconnected expandable and contractible joints. The application of a vertically upward force to the joints of the uppermost form unit causes all the units to move together, first laterally outwardly and then upwardly to strip the form from the column. The form thereafter may be moved to another location where the joints of the form units may be contracted to provide a form for pouring another column. The joints include movable portions which are cammed outwardly or inwardly depending on the direction of vertical movement of a central, vertically movable portion.
