  • Publication number: 20240121262
Abstract: A classifier detects anomalous activity and models a pattern of life of network entities through a series of machine learning models cooperating with multiple response and training instances, which are served by a scalable cloud platform that receives data associated with processes from multiple endpoint agents. The classifier spins up the multiple response instances to support the detection of anomalous activity through the series of machine learning models and the multiple training instances to support the creation and training of the series of machine learning models modeling of the pattern of life of network entities. The classifier spin ups the multiple response instances and the multiple training instances to automatically scale an amount of response instances and training instances needed to respond to a current data load of the data associated with the processes coming from the endpoint agents connected to the network.

  • Patent number: 8369535
Abstract: An acoustic signal level limiter provides a telephone handset/headset user with protection against loud audible signals generated within a communications system. The acoustic signal limiter comprises an acoustic signal level attenuation circuit and at least one acoustic signal level relay circuit. Once activated, the acoustic signal level attenuation circuit creates an attenuation network that attenuates an electrical acoustic signal transmitted through the communications system. Additional acoustic signal level relay circuits are activated to further attenuate the electrical acoustical signal to prevent the acoustic signal level attenuation circuit from operating in a deep saturation mode and provide further hearing safety for the telephone headset/handset user. A fuse in series and “Zener Zap” shunting transistor diodes may provide additional failsafe protection.

  • Publication number: 20080189213
Abstract: A digital rights management system for wireless platforms. The system includes client software running on the wireless platform for publishing and/or viewing protected content. Enterprise server code is executed on a first server platform for sending and receiving protected content. An extension on the enterprise server code is included for detecting the presence of protected content, storing any such protected content in memory and substituting new content for the protected content for viewing on the wireless platform. A digital rights management server provides licenses for viewing the protected content on the wireless platform. A license proxy server is coupled to the wireless platform and the digital rights management server and communicates data therebetween. In the illustrative embodiment, the protected content is digitally rights managed email message. In more specific embodiments, a rights managed secure viewer and a secure publisher run on the wireless platform.

  • Publication number: 20080086779
Abstract: A digital rights management system and method. The inventive system includes a client for publishing and/or viewing protected content; a DRM server for providing licenses for viewing the protected content; and an inventive license proxy server coupled between the client and the server. The license proxy server includes a digital rights management lockbox and plural digital rights management client certificates. The license proxy server is disposed on an operationally independent platform relative to the client or the DRM server and thereby extends a DRM vendor's rights management capabilities to other platforms.

  • Patent number: RE41702
Abstract: A headset storage device includes a headset cradle, a switch and a manual override device. The headset cradle has two positions: a first position when the headset cradle is supporting a headset and a second position when the headset cradle is not supporting a headset. The switch couples the audio signal to the alternate audio system when the headset cradle is in the first position and to the headset when the headset cradle is in the second position. The manual override device forces the headset cradle into one of the two positions regardless of whether the headset cradle is supporting a headset.
