  • Patent number: 8738572
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable medium for storing data elements transmitted via data streams received from distributed devices connected via a network. The received data elements may be stored in block stores on the distributed devices. The stored data elements may be allocated to data blocks of a block store that have assigned block identifiers and further allocated to events of the data blocks. Stream schema of the received plurality of data streams may have the same stream schema, and indices may be generated indices based on the order of the event allocated data elements. Stream schema of the received data streams may comprise a list of token names. Token names may be assigned to the event allocated data elements. Indices may be generated for the event allocated data elements based on the stream schema.

  • Patent number: 8732140
Abstract: A system and method for storing data-files stored on distributed devices connected to a network. Data-elements of the data-files are allocated to data-blocks stored on the distributed devices. Key-identifiers are calculated for each of the data-blocks based on the allocated data-elements. The key-identifiers are stored in distributed tables stored on the distributed devices. Index-nodes are generated for the data-files based on the data-blocks. A Paxos algorithm is executed for the index-nodes based on the key-identifiers to provide a consensus of the data-files that are stored on the plurality of distributed devices.

  • Publication number: 20140032568
Abstract: A system, method and computer readable medium for indexing streaming data. Data may be received from distributed devices connected via a network. Data elements may be stored and allocated to data blocks and events of the block stores. Non-text data may be converted into a text representation. The data may be split into terms, and term frequencies of each term within each of the event may be calculated. Block-level term frequency statics may be calculated based on the term frequencies. Tree index structures, such as the Y-tree index, may be generated based on the block-level term frequency data. The Y-tree index structures may use the terms as keys and pointers to the corresponding data blocks and block-level term frequency data. A search query may be performed over the tree index structures.

  • Publication number: 20110041726
Abstract: A coloured composition comprising: a) NIR scattering TiO2 particulate material with an average crystal size of greater than 0.40 ?m and a particle size distribution such that 30% or more of the particles are less than 1 ?m; b) one or more non-white colorant; wherein the particulate material and the non-white colorant are dispersed within a vehicle. This material with a large crystal size has unusually high reflection of NIR radiation and, simultaneously, noticeably diminished reflectance of visible light. Also disclosed is a coated particulate TiO2 material, wherein the material has an average crystal size of greater than 0.40 ?m, and the coating comprises one or more oxide material; this provides low levels of photocatalytic activity that were previously unattainable. This coated TiO2 material may be provided in a composition.

  • Publication number: 20060063715
Abstract: Compositions of, genetic constructions coding for, and methods for producing multivalent antigen-binding proteins are described and claimed. The methods include purification of compositions containing both monomeric and multivalent forms of single polypeptide chain molecules, and production of multivalent proteins from purified monomers. Production of multivalent proteins may occur by a concentration-dependent association of monomeric proteins, or by rearrangement of regions involving dissociation followed by reassociation of different regions. Bivalent proteins, including homobivalent and heterobivalent proteins, are made in the present invention. Genetic sequences coding for bivalent single-chain antigen-binding proteins are disclosed. Uses include all those appropriate for monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies and fragments thereof, including use as a bispecific antigen-binding molecule.

  • Publication number: 20060031463
Abstract: A metric driven method for managing a network can include the step of specifying a profile for a network event. The profile can include multiple discrete factors and can be associated with at least one event operation. Metrics can be received from multiple remotely located components residing within a network space. The metrics can be compared to the discrete factors, where each compared metric can correspond to one of the factors. A determination based on this comparison can indicate whether the network event has occurred. When the network event has occurred, the previously specified event operation associated with the network event can be automatically executed.
