  • Patent number: 10973115
Abstract: A printed circuit board includes a spread weave of fibers having a first direction and a second direction with corresponding fibers spread more in the first direction than the second direction; and one or more pairs of traces on the spread weave of fibers, wherein the first direction has less differences in dielectric permittivity seen by each trace than the second direction, wherein the one or more pairs of traces are routed according to a routing design that includes one or more fixed regions on the spread weave of fibers, where routing of traces therein is restricted to linear, non-angled routed in the first direction.

  • Patent number: 10402531
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a printed circuit board (PCB) includes determining a weft direction of the PCB, and defining a routing design of differential pairs. The routing design is designed to have a fixed region in the weft direction. The method further includes manufacturing the PCB according to the routing design.

  • Publication number: 20180084638
Abstract: A differential pair propagation delay matched microstrip transmission line manufactured on a printed circuit board (PCB) includes a first trace including a strip of conductor in air, a second trace including a strip of conductor in the air positioned adjacent to and closely spaced apart from the first trace, a conductive reference plane disposed adjacent the first trace and the second trace, and a layer of dielectric material that separates the first trace and the second trace from the conductive reference plane, such that electric fields fringing out of the first trace and second trace pass through the air and the layer of dielectric material. A width of at least one of the first trace and the second trace is adjusted to match signal propagation times of the first and second traces.

  • Publication number: 20070162405
Abstract: A method of predicting the behavior of software agents in a simulated environment involves modeling a plurality of software agents representing entities to be analyzed, which may be human beings. Using a set of parameters that governs the behavior of the agents, the internal state of at least one of the agents is estimated by its behavior in the simulation, including its movement within the environment. This facilitates a prediction of the likely future behavior of the agent based solely upon its internal state; that is, without recourse to any intentional agent communications. In the preferred embodiment the simulated environment is based upon a digital pheromone infrastructure. The simulation integrates knowledge of threat regions, a cognitive analysis of the agent's beliefs, desires, and intentions, a model of the agent's emotional disposition and state, and the dynamics of interactions with the environment.

  • Patent number: 6323686
Abstract: A telephone line feed circuit for use with a telecommunication line has dual drivers with differing ratio transformer taps and a sensing circuit so that under normal drive conditions a first driver supplies substantially all power through a first transformer of a first turns ratio under normal in put signal conditions and a second driver supplies substantially all power through a second transformer of a second turns ratio under high crest factor input signal conditions.
