  • Publication number: 20130171009
Abstract: In a fan system for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, having an electrical fan motor with a commutator, and having a control unit which detects a fault in the fan motor and switches said motor to a voltage-free state if the motor current reaches a predetermined load-dependent switch-off value, the invention proposes that the control unit controls the fan motor with at least a virtually maximum power for a predetermined period of time if the motor current reaches a load-dependent switching value which is lower than the associated switch-off value by a predetermined amount. As a result, the fan motor is not switched off in an undesirable manner if only contamination, but not blocking, is present.

  • Publication number: 20130167744
Abstract: A method for regulating a web tension in a processing machine for processing a product web, in particular a shaftless printing press, includes separating a first product-web section from a second product-web section by a delay section. The web tensions in the first and second product-web sections are influenced by first and second actuators, respectively. To regulate the web tension in the first product-web section, the method further includes defining a regulation output value from which an actuating command for the first actuator is derived. An actuating command for the second actuator is defined from the regulation output value and a delay element to decouple the web tension in the second product-web section from the regulation of the web tension in the first product-web section. The delay element delays the effect of the regulation output value on the actuating command for the second actuator by a delay time.

  • Publication number: 20130160883
Abstract: A hydraulically controlled accumulator-chamber valve has a closing element and a tappet. The closing element is prestressed via a first compression spring and seals a valve seat in a valve body. The tappet reaches through a leadthrough in the valve body and is moved by an accumulator piston. The accumulator piston is loaded by a second compression spring. The tappet is moved to press the closing element out of the valve seat when there is a specified balance of forces between the spring prestressing forces and a hydraulically active force. The closing element and the tappet are configured as a single-piece component, in order to guide the tappet in the leadthrough in a longitudinally movable manner. The tappet bears against an end face of the accumulator piston during an opening movement.
