  • Patent number: 12265914
Abstract: A method includes training a recurrent neural network by monitoring data in a memory of a first server as the first server executes jobs and by determining an amount of computing resources used by the first server while executing the jobs and applying the recurrent neural network to data in the memory to predict an amount of computing resources that the first server will use when executing a first future job. The method also includes, in response to determining that execution of the first future job did not meet a performance criterion, making a change to the first server. The method further includes further training the recurrent neural network using a reinforcement learning technique, applying the recurrent neural network to determine that the change should be made to a second server, and in response, making the change to the second server before the second server executes a second future job.

  • Patent number: 12225607
Abstract: A method of conducting two-way communication between a first NFC enabled device and a second NFC enabled device. The method includes transmitting a write command from the first NFC enabled device to the second NFC enabled device. A silent mode of the second NFC enabled device, in which the presence of the second NFC enabled device is hidden from the first NFC enabled device, is then activated. While the silent mode is activated, the second NFC enabled device processes the write command and writes a response in a memory of the second NFC enabled device. The silent mode is then deactivated, which triggers the first NFC enabled device to read the response in the memory of the second NFC enabled device.

  • Patent number: 12063272
Abstract: Migration of a user of a computing device to accept an updated version of a software feature to the exclusion of a prior version of the software feature is implemented without user friction. Telemetry data corresponding to use of the updated version and of the prior version is stored. The telemetry data is evaluated utilizing a trained machine learning model trained using external telemetry data with respect to use of the updated version and to use of the prior version. A migration acceptance value indicative of whether the user will accept use of the updated version to exclusion of the prior version is calculated. The migration acceptance value is compared to a threshold value determined by the trained model. If the migration acceptance value exceeds the threshold value, the prior version is excluded from the user profile.

  • Patent number: 12026667
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data capture instructions for asset tracking are provided. An example method for capturing data involves obtaining raw data from a data source onboard an asset and monitoring the raw data for satisfaction of a simplified data capture trigger. When the simplified data capture trigger is satisfied, a dataset simplification algorithm is performed on the raw data to generate a simplified set of raw data, and the simplified set of raw data is logged. The method further involves monitoring the raw data for satisfaction of a rich data capture trigger. When the rich data capture trigger is satisfied, an unsimplified block of raw data is identified and logged for rich data analysis. The data is transmitted to a server. The unsimplified block of raw data contains raw data that is additional to the raw data contained in the simplified set of raw data.

  • Patent number: 11862011
Abstract: A traffic analysis system analyzes location data from a plurality of vehicles to determine journeys made by the vehicles. Vehicles may make one or more rest stops during a journey. The traffic analysis system compares rest periods to journey criteria to determine whether a rest period delineates the end of a journey, or whether a rest period is still within the journey. In this way, a plurality of trips can be chained together into a journey to provide more accurate analysis of traffic patterns.
