  • Publication number: 20240086445
Abstract: A method for processor-implemented method includes receiving an integrated circuit (IC) troubleshooting query for an IC. The IC troubleshooting query is received from a user. The method also includes performing natural language processing and machine learning to cluster the IC troubleshooting query into one of a number of semantically similar troubleshooting categories. The method further includes retrieving resolution data from an expert system library, based on a mapping between categories of user solutions and a topic of the IC troubleshooting query. The method also includes generating a recommendation in response to the IC troubleshooting query, based on the resolution data. The method outputs the recommendation to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230108422
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in processing image data associated with crop-bearing fields. One example computer-implemented method includes accessing a first data set including images associated with a field, where the images have a spatial resolution of about one pixel per at least about one meter, and generating, based on a generative model, defined resolution images of the field from the first data set. In doing so, the defined resolution images each have a spatial resolution of about X centimeters per pixel, where X is less than about 5 centimeters. The method also includes deriving index values for the field, based on the defined resolution images of the field, and predicting a characteristic (e.g., a yield, etc.) for the field based on the index values and, in some implementations, at least one environmental metric for the field.

  • Publication number: 20230093903
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in processing image data of crops associated with one or more plots. One example computer-implemented method includes accessing a data set including images associated with one or more plots. The method then includes, for each plot, comparing a first index value of a first image of the plot at time n to an index value of a second image of the plot at time n+1; in response to the second index value being greater than the first index value, flagging the second image; and modifying the data set by removing at least part of the second image based on the flag. The method further includes accessing phenotypic data for the one or more plots at a time consistent with the images and training a model based on data including the modified data set and the accessed phenotypic data.

  • Publication number: 20230100004
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing image data associated with plots are provided. One example computer-implemented method includes accessing a data set including multiple images, a mask for each of the images, and classification data for each of the images, and inputting each of the images to a classifier of a model architecture. The method also includes, for each of the images input to the classifier, generating, by an encoder of the model architecture, a latent image from the input image; generating, by a decoder of the model architecture, an output mask from the latent image; determining, by the classifier, an output classification indicative of a type of crop in the image; comparing the output mask to the corresponding mask in the data set; comparing the output classification to the corresponding classification data in the data set; and modifying a parameter of the model architecture based on the comparisons.

  • Patent number: 10122917
Abstract: Techniques for entering an image-capture user interface from a locked mobile device and capturing an image while the mobile device is still in a locked state. In an example implementation, a mobile device at a lock-screen may detect a change in orientation of the mobile device from a portrait orientation to a landscape orientation. In response, the mobile device may display an image-capture UI. In some implementations, the image-capture UI may be overlaid over one or more elements of the lock-screen. Accordingly, the mobile device may provide visual notice to a user that the phone is still in a locked state while offering image capture functionality. In another implementation, the mobile device may provide another indication that the mobile device is still locked.

  • Patent number: 4002935
Abstract: A linear motor is operatively connected to operate a pair of axially aligned compressors. A pair of axially spaced and oppositely wound coils are mounted to a cylindrically shaped coil form movably connected to drive the aligned compressors with the coils serially connected to a single phase A.C. power source. A pair of spaced annular magnets provide a pair of annular poles of opposite polarity spaced immediately adjacent to the pair of coils while an outer annular flux conducting member connects the outer radial portions of the annular magnets. One embodiment spaces the pair of compressors at opposite axial extremities of the linear motor construction while a second embodiment centers the compressors within the movable coil form.
