  • Publication number: 20100245162
Abstract: A system and method for concurrently operating a plurality of agile beam radar modes by pulse-to-pulse interleaving groups of the radar modes. Radar modes are grouped, each radar mode being allocated a certain amount of time for operation and a suitable pulse repetition frequency to improve or optimize the duty cycle of the antenna while concurrently operating the plurality of modes. Priorities may be assigned to groups or to individual radar modes within each group. In some embodiments, TDM communications are further interleaved within the radar modes to enhance the operation of the radar antenna.

  • Publication number: 20100246377
Abstract: A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) beamforming-based single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) system is disclosed. At the transmitter, a fast Fourier transform (FFT) is performed on transmission data to generate frequency domain data. The frequency domain transmit data is mapped to assigned subcarriers. An inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) is performed on the transmit data mapped to the assigned subcarriers to generate time domain transmit data. The time domain transmit data is transmitted via antennas. At a receiver, an FFT is performed on the received data to generate frequency domain received data. Subcarrier demapping is performed to extract data mapped on the assigned subcarriers. A channel estimator generates a channel matrix which is decomposed into U, D and VH matrices. A channel distortion and interference between transmit and receive antennas are equalized based on the decomposed channel matrices to the extracted frequency domain received data.

  • Publication number: 20100243427
Abstract: Prior electrochromic devices frequently suffer from high levels of defectivity. The defects may be manifest as pin holes or spots where the electrochromic transition is impaired. This is unacceptable for many applications such as electrochromic architectural glass. Improved electrochromic devices with low defectivity can be fabricated by depositing certain layered components of the electrochromic device in a single integrated deposition system. While these layers are being deposited and/or treated on a substrate, for example a glass window, the substrate never leaves a controlled ambient environment, for example a low pressure controlled atmosphere having very low levels of particles. These layers may be deposited using physical vapor deposition.

  • Publication number: 20100251197
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer products are provided for reducing the design size of an integrated circuit while preserving the behavior of the design with respect to verification results. A multiplexer is inserted at the gate being analyzed, and the multiplexer selector is controlled to provide a predetermined output for one frame at the point being analyzed. It is then determined whether the circuit remains equivalent during application of the predetermined output in order to decide whether the gate being analyzed is a candidate for replacement.

  • Publication number: 20100249476
Abstract: The disclosure describes a new class of isomorphously metal-substituted aluminophosphate materials with high phase purity that are capable of performing selective Brönsted acid catalyzed chemical transformations, such as transforming alcohols to olefins, with high conversions and selectivities using mild conditions. Isomorphous substitutions of functional metal ions for both the aluminum ions and the phosphorous ions were successful in various AlPO structures, along with multiple metal substitutions into a single aluminum site and/or a phosphorous site. This invention can be used towards the catalytic conversion of hydroxylated compounds of linear and/or branched moiety with the possibility of being substituted to their respective hydrocarbon products, preferably light olefins containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms, among other chemistries.
