  • Publication number: 20230273900
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and non-transitory program storage devices for identifying demographic information in an input data file even in the face of known errors that would otherwise prevent the method from operating. When a fault condition is detected, a fault handler may attempt to fix the faulty data, remove the faulty data from the input data file being processed, or provide the faulty data at a user interface so a human user can intervene. The method and storage devices may continue processing the data regardless of whether human input has been received because the system can bypass or remove the data, thereby keeping the method fault tolerant.

  • Publication number: 20230272883
Abstract: A system and method for transporting and distributing hydrogen, reducing the risk of hydrogen leakage, maintaining a record of provenance, and measuring and recording its purity level as it flows from source to destination to assure it complies with a predetermined range of values. The system includes a hydrogen delivery line made from metallic or non-metallic pipe that may be placed inside a safety pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the hydrogen delivery line and an interior of the safety pipe. A sweeper gas or liquid may be injected into the channel to purge any hydrogen that might escape from the hydrogen delivery line, and one or more sensors may be used to detect and avoid the presence of an unacceptable level of hydrogen, or to stop the flow of hydrogen and remediate the problem well before a safety or environmental risk can occur.

  • Publication number: 20230270891
Abstract: Liposomes have been used in technologies in biological, pharmaceutical, medical and nutritional applications because they can offer biocompatibility, biodegradability, reduced toxicity, and capacity for size and surface modifications. Traditionally, liposomes are prepared by multiple steps. However, multiple steps of preparation may cause a number of problems including low yield, high polydispersity, and poor morphology. Here, we synthesized liposomes containing magnetic iron oxide nanoparticle using one-pot, single step synthesis under ultra-sonication. We optimized the lipid compositions, sonication power, concentration of iron oxide nanoparticles, and antibody conjugation using Cu-free click chemistry. Furthermore, we incorporated doxorubicin inside magnetic liposomes for combined antibody targeting and magnetic guidance. Fluorescence imaging and quantification confirmed that antibody conjugated magnetic liposome showed high cell specific targeting that was enhanced by magnetic delivery.

  • Publication number: 20230273934
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for identifying demographic information in a data file. The method uses evidence for a label within the column itself. In addition, the method uses likelihoods that a first label may exist at a particular location in a data file with respect to a second label. Finally, the method uses likelihoods that a first label exists in the data file at a first frequency given that a second label exists in a data file in a second frequency. All based on these likelihoods, an overall likelihood of that the label configuration is correct is determined. Using that likelihood score, a nonlinear optimization algorithm is applied to identify a best fit between a group of labels and a group of columns in a data file.
