  • Patent number: 9528305
Abstract: A door assist system including a door and a door assist assembly. The door is pivotally attached to a wall. The door has a paddle handle configured to be pivoted about a first pivot axis relative to the door for allowing the door to rotate relative to the wall to open. The door assist assembly includes a bar connected to the door and configured to pivot relative to the door about a second pivot axis. The door assist assembly further includes a handle engagement member connected to the bar and securely engaging the paddle handle. Rotation of the bar about the second pivot axis causes the handle engagement member to rotate the paddle handle about the first pivot axis to allow the door to open.

  • Patent number: 7249395
Abstract: A hand bracket comprising a grip section, a top connection bracket at a first end of the grip section and a bottom connection bracket a second end of the grip section. At least one of the top connection bracket and the bottom connection bracket comprises a shell having two screw holes and a rim, with screw cylinders extending from the screw holes to a position planar with the rim. The at least one of the top connection bracket and the bottom connection bracket includes a first side and a second side, with the two screw holes located closer to one of the first side or the second side.

  • Patent number: 4976455
Abstract: A handrail assembly for use on a marine vessel, travel trailer, motor home or other recreational vehicle is pivotally mounted to the side thereof to effect easy adjustment of the handrail between an extended, operative position facilitating access to the vehicle or vessel and a collapsed, storage position avoiding interference during the travel thereof. The handrail includes an elongated rod adjustably mounted to a pair of brackets which permit the swinging collapse of the handrail against the vehicle and also facilitates an effective, easily achieved locking of the handrail in the desired operative and collapsed positions.

  • Patent number: 4750777
Abstract: A tailgate for a pickup type vehicle comprised of separate closure members arranged end-to-end and having adjacent ends abutting and rigidly secured to each other to form a single tailgate. Since the tailgate is comprised of separate closures, it can be easily shipped. The closure members can be readily assembled by the user and be used to replace existing tailgates. Moreover, due to the fact that the closure members may be covered with permeable material, it is well suited as a low drag replacement tailgate.

  • Patent number: 4070041
Abstract: A pair of jack assemblies, each having a longitudinally adjustable body and support foot diagonally coupled to the bottom of the body, are rotationally coupled to a pair of plates mounted to a vehicle. In an operational position, the jack assemblies extend downward to the ground in an outward direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. In a storage position, the jack assemblies are rotated upward to a horizontal position so they extend beyond the sides of the vehicle and then adjusted to decrease their length so the foot engages a portion of the vehicle and prevents downward rotational movement of the jack assembly. The coupling between each jack assembly and the associated mounting plate provides for limiting rotation of the jack assembly between the operational and storage positions.

  • Patent number: 3972170
Abstract: A reinforcing member for reinforcing the spaced flanges of a frame member utilizes a rigid member adapted to nest between the flanges which includes at least two strap-receiving openings adapted to have a tie-down strap passed around the frame member and into and around the reinforcing member. The reinforcing member prevents collapsing of the frame member when the tie-down strap is tightened.
