  • Method and means for marking X-ray film with identifying indicia

    Abstract: The present invention uses the patient's history form for marking the patient identification indicia on to the X-ray for the patient. A patient identification section of the history form is placed in registered alignment with an unexposed patient identification portion of the X-ray film. Light is passed through the patient form and also through the patient identification portion of the film so as to transfer the image of the indicia in the history form onto the patient identification portion of the film. A light exposure box includes a window for exposing the film to the light through the patient history form.
