  • Patent number: 12139922
Abstract: Antenna tower construction/deconstruction biasing assemblies are provided. The biasing assemblies can be configured to extend between a standard and an antenna tower. The assemblies can include: an adjustable linear extension extending between a first end configured to couple with the standard and a second end configured to couple with the antenna tower; and a biasing mechanism configured to adjust the length of the linear extension and maintain the rigid engagement during transitioning of the tower from a down/erect position to an erect/down position. Methods for constructing/deconstructing an antenna tower are provided. The methods can include providing a biasing assembly.

  • Patent number: 11613905
Abstract: Methods for constructing/deconstructing an antenna tower are provided. The methods can include engaging a stability assembly between a standard and a tower to maintain tension in a line used to raise/lower the tower. Antenna tower construction/deconstruction stability assemblies are also provided. The assemblies can include a stability assembly extending from the standard and configured to rigidly engage a portion of the antenna tower, the stability assembly being operable to maintain the rigid engagement during transitioning of the tower from a down/erect position to an erect/down position.

  • Publication number: 20030221472
Abstract: A swaging machine has a head with an axis of rotation and a plurality of holes spaced in a circular array concentric and parallel with the axis of rotation. Shafts extend from each of the holes, each shaft having a supporting portion located on the forward side of the head. Rollers are rotatably mounted to the supporting portions of the shaft, each roller having a conical exterior. A chucking member on the rearward side of the head is engaged by a rotary member to rotate the head. The rollers of the rotating head are brought into engagement with a cylindrical pipe, causing a tapered swaged section to be formed on the end of the pipe. The pipe is then threaded. The pipe is preferably of small wall thickness.

  • Patent number: 5226042
Abstract: A method of establishing an N time slot connection through first and second, single-buffered time slot interchangers where the time slots interconnecting the two time slot interchangers, referred to herein as network time slots, are chosen in accordance with particular selection criteria such that all N time slots received by the first time slot interchanger in a single frame, are also transmitted from the second time slot interchanger in a single frame.

  • Patent number: 5042062
Abstract: Broadband terminals, such as video terminals and a video conferencing system, are directly connected to broadband digital access crossconnect systems and connections between the terminals are established via the crossconnects and DS1 or DS3 interconnecting links under control of telephone exchanges associated with the different crossconnects. A broadband terminal is connected to an associated exchange, as well as, a crossconnect and a connection from one terminal to another may be requested by transmitting a special code to the exchange together with a directory number assigned to the desired broadband terminal. The central office, on the basis of the directory number, area code and exchange code, selects a broadband interconnecting link from the crossconnect to which the originating terminal is connected to the crossconnect to which the terminating terminal is connected.

  • Patent number: 4548405
Abstract: A treadmill includes an endless belt, the uppermost side of which is adapted to form a flat exercising surface. The endless belt is supported at each end of the exercising surface for supporting and allowing the endless belt to move longitudinally. The edges of the endless belt are also supported by connecting each edge to a support rail through a plurality of springs for providing a trampoline-like effect to the surface.

  • Patent number: 4429391
Abstract: A fault and error detection arrangement for detecting transmission and routing errors made by systems in which a central data transmitter/receiver (601, 610) bidirectionally intercommunicates with peripheral circuits (620) through an interconnection arrangement (604). The parity bits of certain data words transmitted by the central data transmitter (601) are intentionally inverted by a central parity inverter (602), in a known sequence. Data words transmitted by the central data transmitter (601) are routed by the interconnection arrangement (604) to the peripheral circuits (620) where parity is checked by a peripheral parity checker (621) and a parity invert signal is generated when an inverted parity data word is found. A peripheral parity inverter (623) included in each peripheral circuit (620) responds to the parity invert signals by inverting the parity bit of the next data word transmitted by a peripheral data transmitter (622) also included in each peripheral circuit (620).
