  • Patent number: 11933106
Abstract: A ladder having a foot having a plastic body with a recess which receives the end of a first rail and is positioned about and conforms to the web and the first and second flanges of the first rail. The foot has a plastic base having a top side from which the body extends. The base has a front edge. The foot has a metal rail fastener which extends through the body and the rail to attach the body and the rail together. The foot has a pad having a rigid plate with a rubber outer layer surrounding the rigid plate and a pad fastener hole that extends entirely through the rigid plate and rubber outer layer, the outer layer of the pad having a bottom with treads. The foot has a metal pad fastener that extends entirely through the pad and entirely through the base to attach the pad to the base so the rigid plate is between the treads and the base of the shell. A ladder foot. A method.

  • Patent number: 7904418
Abstract: An edit list including a collection of change descriptions and definitions for a primary data structure is used for on-demand, incremental updating of associated auxiliary data structures. Edits performed on the primary data structure are recorded in the edit list with a version stamp, along with definitions of the changes and any other pertinent data. Each auxiliary data structure maintains its own version stamp that identifies when the auxiliary data structure was last synchronized with the primary data structure. When an auxiliary data structure needs to be updated, the edit list is retrieved and change descriptions scanned to find one with the matching version stamp. All change descriptions logged since that one are incorporated into the auxiliary data structure. The specific contents of each change description enable the auxiliary data structure to be incrementally updated as each change description is processed individually.

  • Patent number: 5915741
Abstract: A faucet cartridge puller assembly operable to remove a broken defective primary valve cartridge assembly from a faucet valve assembly which is utilized on a kitchen faucet valve assembly, a bath/shower faucet valve assembly, or a bathroom sink faucet valve assembly, all being used in substantially identical manner. The faucet cartridge puller assembly includes 1) a cartridge removal tool assembly adapted to be mountable within a cartridge barrel opening of a damaged primary valve cartridge assembly; and 2) a cartridge removal bolt member mountable within the cartridge removal tool assembly to achieve final axial movement of a damaged primary valve cartridge assembly being removed for replacement. The cartridge removal tool assembly includes a main removal tool body having an intermediate body section with external tap threads operable to be rotated and create threads with the damaged primary valve cartridge assembly so as to pull same longitudinally from a main valve housing.

  • Patent number: 5561171
Abstract: The present invention relates to foam compositions which are expanded with hydrohalocarbon blowing agents in the presence of catalysts which are capable of decreasing the amount of decomposition of the hydrohalocarbon blowing agents to haloalkenes during the polymerization. Thus, the present invention provides compositions comprising polyisocyanate, polyol, hydrohalocarbon blowing agent, surfactant, and catalyst for polymerization of the polyisocyanate and polyol wherein the catalyst is capable of decreasing the amount of decomposition of the hydrohalocarbon blowing agents to haloalkenes during polymerization of the polyisocyanate and the polyol.

  • Patent number: 5137929
Abstract: The present invention relates to foam compositions which are expanded with hydrohalocarbon blowing agents in the presence of additives which decrease the formation of haloalkenes during the polymerization. Thus, the present invention provides compositions comprising polyisocyanate, polyol, hydrohalocarbon blowing agent, catalyst, surfactant, and at least one additive wherein the additive is capable of decreasing the amount of decomposition of said dehydrohalocarbon blowing agent to haloalkenes during polymerization of the polyisocyanate and the polyol.Depending upon the polyol and polyisocyanate used and the quantity of polyisocyanate used, the compositions may be used in pour-in-place molded foams; rigid urethane spray foams; rigid high and low density foams for slabstock, froth foams, and molded foams; rigid laminated boardstock; or specialty foams.
