  • Publication number: 20030227180
Abstract: A door latch assembly configured to maintain an openable door in a closed position using a nose portion interacting with a striker plate, the latch assembly configured for opening the door through either moving the nose portion in response to a force in a plane substantially parallel to the door surface or by retracting the nose portion in response to a force substantially normal to the door surface.
