Abstract: A foam backed carpet with an adhesive release surface and a method of installing the carpet is disclosed wherein the carpet has textile fibers secured to a primary backing. A secondary backing formed from a plastisol composition containing polymers or copolymers of vinyl compounds engages the primary backing and an oleophobic pressure sensitive adhesive layer is included on the secondary backing for releasably securing the carpet to an underlying floor. A release cover releasably secured to the layer of pressure sensitive adhesive layer protects and maintains the tackiness of the adhesive layer before laying of the floor covering on an underlying floor.

Abstract: Amino-polyacetic acids such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, diethylene triaminepentaacetic acid and nitrilotriacetic acid are reacted with alkanols and then with hydrazine to form the hydrazides which may be converted to carboxyhydrazides, i.e. carbazic acids. The products perform well as chelants and sequestering agents.

Abstract: A binder material, such as a sheet or ribbon, including a grid construction of pressure sensitive adhesive for strippably adhering a work piece, such as carpeting, to a holding surface, such as a floor, and/or seaming the work pieces together over the holding surface, and a method for installing the work pieces over the tacky adhesive which comprises the positioning and partial removal of protective release coating between the work piece and the binder material during positioning.

Abstract: The radar antenna, monopulse comparator network, and mixer simulator is a al-time computer controlled simulation of the antenna, monopulse comparator network, and rf mixer of tracking radar systems which normally transform the angle of arrival of incoming signals into amplitude and phase modulations on intermediate frequency sum and difference channel signals. The simulator produces appropriately modulated intermediate frequency (IF) sum and difference channel signals as a function of computer derived spatial angle information. These IF signals correspond to the radar-hardware-derived sum and difference channel IF signals.
