  • Patent number: 8003902
Abstract: An apparatus and method for simultaneously operating the horn and light systems of a motorized vehicle is provided. The controller used to operate the systems can be a single controller that operates the horn when a certain range of pressure is applied to the controller and operates the horn and lights systems when a stronger pressure is applied. The system can include a dedicated horn operating system controller independent of the dual function controller to eliminate the need for differing pressures to operate the horn and light systems substantially simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 6591643
Abstract: A keyless locking system comprises a housing with a planar plate constituting a front wall and peripheral walls extending inwardly to form an open housing. A rotatable assembly is rotatably secured within the housing. The rotatable assembly includes a rotator with a cylindrical shaft, a spring loaded retention member, a channel member and a trapezoidal end plate. The channel member has a parallel plate with a pair of sidewalls to encompass and contact the sides of a deadbolt. The first end has a retention bar between the sidewalls. A gearing assembly and an associated motor are provided. An electronic assembly is provided to effect the driving of the motor and worm gear. An associated switch initiates the driving of the electronic assembly and motor. Provided last is a control member. The member is adapted to be pressed to drive the motor rotating the gear assembly and channel member and deadbolt.

  • Patent number: 6216502
Abstract: A keyless locking system includes a housing in a generally rectilinear configuration having a plate with peripheral edge walls to form an open housing there between. A rotatable assembly is secured to the front wall and includes a visible rotator extending inwardly from the front wall and a cylindrical shaft extending through the front wall. A C-shaped channel member extending interiorly from the front wall to encompass and contact the sides of the deadbolt. A gearing assembly includes a large gear coupled to the channel member and a smaller gear and an intermediate gear whereby rotation of the intermediate gear will rotate the smaller gear and then the larger gear to rotate the channel member and deadbolt to lock and unlock the door. A motor within the housing with an associated battery drives the intermediate gear. An electronic assembly effects the driving of the motor and intermediate gear in a first direction and then a second direction.
