  • Publication number: 20240192037
Abstract: A fluid flow rate sensor. The fluid flow rate sensor comprises an elongated structure; a heating element installed into a first end of the elongated structure; a first temperature transducer coupled to an outside of the elongated structure at a first predefined location; a second temperature transducer coupled to the outside of the elongated structure at a second predefined location; and a control unit that is configured to turn the heating element on and off, to analyze a first temperature indication received from the first temperature transducer, to analyze a second temperature indication received from the second temperature transducer, to determine a flow rate of a fluid that is in intimate contact with the outside of the elongated structure based on analyzing the first temperature indication and the second temperature indication, and to output the flow rate via a communication line.

  • Patent number: 11988159
Abstract: An aircraft that includes a hybrid-electric propulsion system is provided. In one aspect, the hybrid-electric propulsion system includes at least one propulsor that includes a gas turbine engine and an electric machine mechanically coupled with a spool of the gas turbine engine. When idle operation is commanded, electrical power is provided to the electric machine to cause the electric machine to apply torque to the spool and fuel provided to the engine can be reduced. Thus, the electric machine is controlled to provide a power assist to maintain the engine at the commanded idle speed whilst reducing fuel consumption.

  • Patent number: 11916451
Abstract: A pump system for pumping production fluids from a wellbore or pumping well treatment fluids into a wellbore comprising: an axial flux electric motor; a seal section coupled to the axial flux motor; a pump intake coupled to the seal section; a pump coupled to the pump intake, and a fluid discharge coupled to the pump. The torque capacity axial flux motor may be modified without removing the axial flux motor from the pump.

  • Publication number: 20170363124
Abstract: A fence panel coupler 10 comprises a first clamping member 12, a second clamping member 14 and clamping means to connect the first clamping member 12 to the second clamping member 14. The clamping means is arranged to enable the first clamping member 12 to be moved towardsor away from the second clamping member 14 in order for the fence panel coupler 10 to be releasably clamped to a fencing structure. In particular, the fence panel coupler 10 is arranged to secure a fence post (or pole) 20 of a first fence panel to an adjacent second post (or pole) 22 of a second fence panel. The present invention provides a fence panel coupler which can be operated by a single person located on one side of the perimeter fencing. The fence panel coupler 10 comprises a first clamping member 12 which is permanently attached to the second clamping member 14 such that the two clamping members 12, 14 cannot be released from each other. The fence panel coupler is therefore a self contained element with no detachable components.
