Abstract: Solid-state lighting devices including light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and more particularly sealing structures for LED packages are disclosed. Sealing structures include multiple seals within an LED package that provide a multiple barrier structure for enhanced protection from elemental ingress from a surrounding environment. Certain seals may be provided as bonding materials between cover structures and submounts of LED packages, thereby enclosing LED chips. Additional seals may be provided as coatings on surfaces of LED chips and/or submounts that are between cover structures and LED chips. Sealing structures may include multiple levels of hermetic seals with LED packages.

Abstract: A portable food delivery container includes a food storage compartment, a control compartment, and a temperature control source. A control compartment lies adjacent to and in thermal conductivity with the food storage compartment. A modular removable temperature control source is disposed within the control compartment, where the temperature control source effects transfer of thermal energy between the food storage compartment and the control compartment to maintain the food storage compartment at a temperature other than the ambient temperature.

Abstract: A portable, thermal bag for containing a food product, such as pizza. The bag has top and bottom panels and is closed along both sides and at the rear end. The front end is open to permit insertion and removal of the food product. The top and bottom panels each have an outer cover layer and an inner cover layer, and an electric resistance wire between the cover layers. The resistance wires may be plugged into the cigarette lighter of a delivery vehicle to keep the food product warm. A thermostat is placed in the center of the top panel to control the temperature. The bag has a quick release connector which may also be plugged into a low voltage transformer in a restaurant where several bags may be kept before being used to carry a pizza in a delivery vehicle.
