  • Patent number: 7366824
Abstract: A system and method for updating electronic files and file components are provided. An upgrade client of a remote device receives a delta file block that codes differences between an original and a new version of a file. The upgrade client stores the delta file block in a first memory area. The upgrade client writes an original file block corresponding to the delta file block from an original memory area to a second memory area. A file updating algorithm generates an updated file block in the host device using the received delta file block and the original file block. This updated file block corresponds to the original file block, and is stored in a third memory area. The upgrade client updates the original file block of the remote device by writing the updated file block over the original file block in the original memory area of the remote device.

  • Patent number: 7186290
Abstract: A filter system includes a source of clean filter media adjacent a channel through which fluid passes. The filter media is automatically advanced from the source to the channel and eventually to a sealed container adjacent the channel. The filter media is automatically advanced through the channel, where it is replaced with clean filter media in the channel. A controller controls the advancement of the filter media based upon time or based upon a current condition of the filter media.

  • Publication number: 20060144076
Abstract: A condenser coil for a refrigerated beverage and food service merchandiser includes a plurality of parallel fins or V-shaped fins between adjacent tubes. In order to reduce the likelihood of fouling by the bridging of fibers therebetween, the spacing of the fins is maintained at a distance of 0.4 to 0.8 inches apart. In one embodiment, the coil includes a plurality of flat multichannel tubes, with no fins therebetween, and the spacing between the multichannel tubes is maintained in the range of 0.4 to 0.8 inches. In one embodiment, the coil includes at least one serpentine shaped, multichannel tubes, with no fins therebetween, and the spacing between flat, parallel segments of the multichannel tubes is maintained in the range of 0.4 to 0.8 inches.

In order to reduce the likelihood of fouling by the bridging of fibers therebetween, the spacing of the fins is maintained at a distance of 0.4 to 0.8 inches apart. In one embodiment, the tubes comprise microchannel tubes, with no fins therebetween, and the spacing between the microchannel tubes is maintained in the range of 0.75 inches to optimize the heat transfer performance while minimizing the occurrence of fouling. A supporting structure is provided between microchannel tubes when no fins are included. Also, plural rows of microchannel tubes are provided with separate inlet headings and with the rows being staggered in transverse relationship to enhance the heat transfer characteristic while minimizing the likelihood of fouling.

  • Patent number: 6502413
Abstract: A refrigerant cycle has a main expansion valve communicating with an inlet header which in turn communicates with a plurality of flow passages moving towards an evaporator coil. Each of the plurality of passages is provided with an individual restriction which provides additional expansion. The individual restrictions can each be separately controlled or designed such that the flow through each of the passages can be tailored to optimum efficiency and operation within the evaporator coil. However, the use of the main expansion valve in series with these restrictions ensures that each of the restrictions can be relatively simple items. Further, the use of the separate restrictions provides a system which has a simplified inlet header system.
