  • Publication number: 20260151701
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for executing, by a local processing device, a first instance of the application associated with a first user of the local processing device, receiving data output by a second instance executed by the remote processing device, the second instance of the application being associated with a second user of the local processing device, identifying a first synchronization point within the first instance, identifying a second synchronization point associated with the second instance, determining a temporal offset between the first instance and the second instance using the first synchronization point and the second synchronization point, and implementing one or more modifications to one or more of the first instance and the second instance to reduce the temporal offset.

  • Publication number: 20260151700
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for executing the first instance responsive to first input received from a first input device associated with the local processing device, the second instance being responsive to second input received from a second input device associated with the local processing device, determining a first degree of similarity between a first video output of the first instance and a second video output of the second instance, and determining that the first degree of similarity meets or exceeds a threshold degree of similarity and, and at least partially in response, implementing one or more modifications, a first modification including ceasing, by the local processing device, display of one of the first video output and the second video output, and displaying, by the local processing device, another of the first video output and the second video output.

  • Publication number: 20260077265
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for executing a video game can include executing a first instance at a first processing device, receiving data from a second processing device over a network, the data corresponding to a second instance executed concurrently with the first instance, the second instance being instantiated by the second processing device in response to one or more events detected by the first processing device, providing inputs received from the first control device to the first instance of the video game, the first instance being responsive to inputs received from the first control device, transmitting inputs received from the second control device to the second processing device, the second instance being responsive to inputs received from the second control device, generating images for display based on the first instance and the second instance, and displaying the generated images.

  • Patent number: 11420394
Abstract: A 3D printing system comprises a 3D printing arrangement operable to print a 3D object, a processing unit operable to analyse images captured by an infra-red camera to detect the state of the object being printed, a substrate upon which the 3D printed object is adhered during the 3D printing process; and an infra-red light source arranged to illuminate the substrate in such a manner so as to cause total internal reflection of the infra-red light to occur in the substrate when the 3D object is not adhered to the substrate, wherein the infra-red camera is arranged to view the surface of the substrate opposite to that which the 3D object is printed upon so that the camera may capture images of the 3D object when it is correctly adhered to the substrate; and the processing unit is operable to analyses the captured images to detect whether the 3D object is correctly adhered to the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11094107
Abstract: A behavior history data acquisition unit 304 acquires behavior history data on a plurality of users wearing head mounted displays on heads thereof and experiencing a same three-dimensional content space. A line-of-sight direction acquisition unit 312 acquires line-of-sight directions of the plurality of users in the three-dimensional content space, from the behavior history data on the plurality of users. A screen generation unit 316 generates, on a basis of the acquired line-of-sight directions of the plurality of users, an image concerning line of sights of the plurality of users in a three-dimensional virtual space.

  • Publication number: 20200301504
Abstract: A system for providing information to a user via a heads-up display includes a first display operable to display images of a first content to the user, a gaze tracking unit operable to identify the user's gaze direction with respect to one or more elements of the first content, a content generation unit operable to generate second content for display to a user in dependence upon the identified gaze direction, and a heads-up display operable to display the second content to the user.

  • Patent number: 10218706
Abstract: A method of supervisory control is provided according to aspects of the technology. The method includes setting, at a remote device, at least a first usage control parameter for at least a first account associated with access to content on a class of entertainment devices. The method also includes monitoring, at an entertainment device of that class, which account or accounts are active on the entertainment device and obtaining, at the entertainment device, the at least first usage control parameter set for the at least first account. The method further includes restricting usage of content on the entertainment device responsive to the at least first usage control parameter.
