    Abstract: A ladder support system that may be mounted on a ladder rung or other securing structures and may further be shaped to provide lateral support to the ladder when a pole or other supporting structure is positioned on the ladder support. The ladder support may also be configured for convenient mounting and removal from the securing structure to which it may be mounted. The ladder support may be resilient and may have a slit along the length of the support to provide releasable mounting on the ladder.
