  • Patent number: 11310294
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enhancing a user's experience when joining teleconference sessions with multiple devices. When a user attempts to join a teleconference session using the same user identity for multiple devices, a system differentiates the devices as a primary device and at least one companion device. The primary device has a first control set for controlling a teleconference session and the at least one companion device has a companion control set for sharing content. In some embodiments, the primary device also has one set of selected streams, e.g., a stage view, and the companion device has a subset of those streams or other streams based on an activity level. In addition, the present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enabling users to share content using the companion devices.

  • Patent number: 11212326
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enhancing a user's experience when joining teleconference sessions. When multiple users join a teleconference session using separate devices, a system identifies devices that are co-located. The co-located devices are identified by the use of a combination of data including, but not limited to social signals, audio signal and other location data. At least one device of the co-located devices, has a first control set for controlling a teleconference session and other devices of the co-located devices have a second control set for sharing content. The at least one device also has one set of streams and the other devices see a subset of those streams or other streams based on an activity level. In addition, the present disclosure provides a number of techniques for enabling users to use multiple devices to share content.

  • Patent number: 10218882
Abstract: A computing device has an input configured to receive data captured by at least one capture device where the data depicts at least part of an object moving in an environment. The computing device has a tracker configured to track a real-world position and orientation of the object using the captured data. A processor at the computing device is configured to compute and output feedback about performance of the tracker, where the feedback encourages a user to adjust movement of the object for improved tracking of the object by the tracker.

  • Publication number: 20180188907
Abstract: In various examples there is an electronic device having a content item state retrieval system. There is a chat interface executing at the electronic device and a processor which monitors states of at least one content item associated with the electronic device in relation to chat messages at the chat interface. A logging component logs associations between at least some of the content item states and the chat messages based on the times at which the chat messages were created; and a user interface has selectable elements representing the chat messages. When an element is selected by a user it triggers retrieval of an associated state of a content item based on the logged associations.

  • Publication number: 20170185156
Abstract: A user interface comprises a display controller configured to render graphical data on a display, and a memory configured to receive captured sensor data depicting at least one hand of a user operating the user interface without touching the user interface. A tracker is configured to compute, from the captured sensor data, values of pose parameters of a three dimensional model of the hand, the pose parameters comprising position and orientation of each of a plurality of joints of the hand. A processor is configured to compute at least one position on the display from the pose parameters and to update the graphical data on the basis of the position.

  • Publication number: 20170185141
Abstract: Apparatus is described which has a memory configured to receive captured sensor data depicting at least one hand of a user operating the control system. The apparatus has a tracker configured to compute, from the captured sensor data, values of pose parameters of a three dimensional (3D) model of the hand, the pose parameters comprising position and orientation of each of a plurality of joints of the hand A physics engine stores data about at least one virtual entity. The physics engine is configured to compute an interaction between the virtual entity and the 3D model of the hand based at least on the values of the pose parameters and data about the 3D model of the hand A feedback engine is configured to trigger feedback to the user about the computed interaction, the feedback being any one or more of visual feedback, auditory feedback, haptic feedback.
