  • Patent number: 9593760
Abstract: A reverse idler support article includes a reverse idler support body that has a disk member, a plateau and a hollow cylinder. The disk member is connected to and in facial contact with the plateau that projects from a first disk member surface and the hollow cylinder that projects from a second disk member surface to define an interior space. The disk member and the plateau have an offset hole formed therethrough that is in communication with the interior space. The offset hole is oriented offset from a central axis of the reverse idler support body which extends generally centrally through the disk member and the interior space of the hollow cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20160091080
Abstract: A manifold for distributing lubricant in a transmission includes an inlet supply nozzle, a first body portion and a second body portion. The inlet supply nozzle receives transmission lubricant. The first body portion is in fluid communication with the supply nozzle and defines a first channel having a first open side along the first channel. The second body portion is in fluid communication with the supply nozzle and defines a second channel having a second open side along the second channel. The first and second body portions connect to form an assembled body in an assembled position such that the first and second channels collectively define a main tubular passage. A plurality of outlet ports can extend from the assembled body for dispersing lubricant from the main tubular passage across traction components of the transmission.

  • Patent number: 5894032
Abstract: The present invention provides a process for the manufacture of printed orthopedic casting tapes. A knit, open mesh fibrous tape having elastic filaments extending in the length direction is stretched in a predetermined amount and a pattern is printed onto the stretched fibrous tape using a low temperature drying ink. The printed tape is thereafter passed through a drying zone maintained at a temperature of less than about 100.degree. C. while the tape is maintained in the stretched condition. The printed tape is thereafter allowed to relax and is subsequently coated with a hardenable liquid resin.

  • Patent number: 5836206
Abstract: An improved vehicular change gear transmission (100) is provided that includes a mainshaft thrust washer (32) having at least one and preferably a plurality of substantially equally circumferentially spaced depressions (48) on at least one side and preferably indexed with substantially equally circumferentially spaced depressions (58) on the opposite side thereof that are adapted to enable lubricant (9) to move radially outwardly from between mainshaft gear thrust surfaces (47, 49) disposed on opposite sides of thrust washer (32) to minimize accumulation of lubricant (9) therebetween resulting in reduced hydrodynamic drag.
