  • Patent number: 6805258
Abstract: A capsule dispenser for dispensing one of a plurality of capsules includes a blister pack having a plurality of cavities, where each cavity is configured to releasably retain one of the plurality of capsules. Also included is a puncturable sealing material covering the cavities. A first housing has a dispensing aperture through which a dispensed capsule passes, and a second housing is configured to mate with the first housing to rotatably retain the blister pack therebetween. The blister pack is able to rotate while retained between the first and second housings. A puncture aperture is located in the first housing and is in alignment with the dispensing aperture. The puncture aperture is configured to permit finger force to be applied to a cavity of the blister pack.

  • Patent number: 6500891
Abstract: The present invention discloses a thermally conductive adhesive composition that is useful for encapsulating electronic parts. More particularly, this invention provides adhesive compositions that have 90% of the alumina particles having an average diameter sufficiently low to maintain the particles in suspension. The thermally conductive compositions of the present invention have a low viscosity and excellent thermal conductivity properties. Also contemplated is an electronic part that is encapsulated with the inventive composition, an article of manufacture having a container with the inventive composition contained therein and a method of manufacturing the inventive thermally conductive adhesive composition.

  • Patent number: 6237984
Abstract: A visor (10) comprises a main movable first visor part comprising back plate (12) and front plate (14) and an auxiliary sheet-like second visor part (16) therebetween. The sheet-like second visor part is carried on the first visor part (12, 14) by, for example, arms (30) to allow movement in the plane of the sheet. The arms (30) guide the auxiliary visor part (16) during movement downwards and sideways from a stowed position on the first visor part (12, 14). Alternatively, the auxiliary visor part may be guided by a V-shaped slot (54) or circular groove arrangement (140).

  • Patent number: 6169953
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for protecting an engine of a vehicle driving a load from overheating. The apparatus comprises a sensor configured to provide a temperature signal representative of a temperature of the engine of the vehicle, a controller responsive to the temperature signal and configured to provide a control signal, and an instrumentation system responsive to the control signal and configured to provide a warning signal. The warning signal is provided when the temperature of the engine is within a warning range, and the load is disengaged when the temperature of the engine is within an overheat range.

  • Patent number: 4925052
Abstract: A drinking vessel has a cylindrical body (1) forming the main receptacle, and a lid (2) with a snap fit over the rim of the body. The lid has a mouthpiece (6) diametrically opposed to a vent (8) and when turned to one position both are blocked. But when turned to another position, both are opened to the interior of the body (1) by ducts (11) in an inner flange (10) of the lid registering with recesses (5) in the rim of the body.

  • Patent number: 4240637
Abstract: A golf putting apparatus consists of a deck having an upper putting surface which deck is variably adjusted with respect to a base by means of several height adjustment devices, each comprising a bolt turnable by a handle and having a nut threaded thereon, which nut is held captive with respect to the deck so that turning of a respective handle effects a variance of the height of a portion of the deck and of the magnitude of the slope of the deck surface.

  • Patent number: 4119211
Abstract: Small articles, such as miniature ceramics having integrated circuits bonded thereon, are adjacently positioned with an initial row orientation in parallel first rows in guide tracks having a first row spacing. The first articles in each track are lifted from the tracks by a transfer arm, having rotatable vacuum pickups, along a line angular to the tracks such that the articles have a predetermined second row spacing measured along the transfer arm. The lifted articles are transferred to second rows of vacuum supports therefor by pivoting movement of the arm. The supports have pedestals in columns transverse to the second rows which are indexed into position for repeated transfer of articles thereto to form an array (or matrix) of articles having the second spacing between the second rows of the articles on the supports. A link mechanism is provided to rotate the vacuum pickups and re-establish the initial row orientation of the articles with respect to the second rows.
