  • Patent number: 10387392
Abstract: An industrial control program development system allows a user to set metadata attributes for respective data items in the controller that indicate which of the data tags are to be monitored and collected by a separate industrial data historian system. When the industrial controller is deployed on a plant network, the data historian system reads the metadata attributes for the respective data items (e.g., data tags or data logs) defined in the controller and configures itself to collect and store data associated with the subset of data items that have been flagged for data collection. This system mitigates the need to manually configure the data historian with the identities of the data items that are to be monitored and collected for historical or reporting purposes.

  • Publication number: 20090293024
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for implementing enhanced detection of circuit design limitations and stresses via enhanced waveform and schematic display. A selected simulation is run, for example, a transient, an AC, or a DC simulation. Then a displayed schematic highlights problem areas using a color set selected by a circuit designer.

  • Patent number: 7503024
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for hierarchical Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) mask layout data interrogation. The method displays a tree diagram of the layout hierarchy and then allows the user to interrogate the mask layout shapes by using a cross probing feature.

  • Publication number: 20060078450
Abstract: Vacuum pumping apparatus includes a pump frame, a stationary scroll element secured to the pump frame, the stationary scroll element including a stationary scroll blade, an orbiting scroll element including an orbiting scroll blade intermeshed with the stationary scroll blade, a motor secured to the pump frame, and a crankshaft coupled between the motor and the orbiting scroll element for producing orbiting movement of the orbiting scroll blade relative to the stationary scroll blade when the motor is energized. The crankshaft includes a first component having a first coefficient of thermal expansion and a second component having a second coefficient of thermal expansion.

  • Publication number: 20050084403
Abstract: A compact scroll pump includes a scroll set having an inlet and an outlet, and a drive mechanism. The scroll set includes a stationary scroll blade extending from a stationary plate and an orbiting scroll blade extending from an orbiting plate. The stationary and orbiting scroll blades are intermeshed together to define one or more interblade pockets. The orbiting scroll blade is located on a first side of the orbiting plate, and the drive mechanism is operatively coupled to a second side of the orbiting plate for producing orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll blade relative to the stationary scroll blade. The drive mechanism includes a motor and a crankshaft having an axis of rotation, and an orbiting bearing coupled between the crankshaft and the orbiting plate. The scroll set is configured such that an imaginary plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation passes through the orbiting bearing and at least a portion of the orbiting scroll blade.
