  • Patent number: 11948786
Abstract: A night vision system, a microchannel plate (MCP), and a planetary deposition system and methodology are provided for selectively depositing an electrode contact metal on one side of MCP channel openings. One or more MCPs can be releasably secured to a face of a platter that rotates about its central platter axis. The rotating platter can be tilted on a rotating ring fixture surrounding an evaporative source of contact metal. Therefore, the rotating platter further rotates so that it orbits around the evaporative source of contact metal. A mask with a variable size mask opening is arranged between the rotating platter and the evaporative source. While the mask orbits around the evaporative source with the rotating platter, the mask does not rotate along its own axis as does the rotating platter.

  • Publication number: 20230130416
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems relating to a Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) system capable of logging event data and/or broadcasting state changes and/or system status information to external clients are described. In an embodiment, a processor stores data corresponding to one or more event markers in memory in response to occurrence of an event. Occurrence of the event is detected based at least in part on detection of one or more parameters by one or more sensors or a signal to be generated by one or more of electrodes of the WCD system. A communication device transmits at least a portion of the stored data to a remote device. A patient condition or a WCD system condition can then be detected based at least in part on analysis of the stored data and/or the transmitted portion of the stored data. Other embodiments are also disclosed and/or claimed.

  • Patent number: 11611827
Abstract: System, method, and various embodiments for providing a speaker audio configuration system are described herein. An embodiment operates by identifying an external speaker connected to an audio device. Second capability information for the external speaker is retrieved and user input indicating a relative position of the external speaker to the internal speaker is received. An audio configuration for the external speaker is calculated based on the second capability information and the relative position of the external speaker. The calculated audio configuration is provided to the external speaker. The external speaker is configured to receive and audibly output audio from the audio device based on the audio configuration.

  • Patent number: 11536406
Abstract: A modular multiport pod missile includes a plurality of pipe sections securable together to form a conduit for transporting a fluid in a generally horizontal direction of travel, and at least one pod secured between two of the pipe sections forming the conduit. Each pod has a plurality of input ports extending radially outwardly at an angle from a perimeter of the pod. Each of the input ports is configured for connection to a high-pressure line for delivering a high-pressure fluid from a pump to the conduit. The input ports are angled such that, when connected to a high-pressure line, high-pressure fluid flowing through the input ports merges with the fluid in the conduit generally in the same direction of travel as the fluid in the conduit.

  • Publication number: 20220358915
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for a voice command recognition system (VCR). An example embodiment operates by receiving a voice command directed to controlling a device, the voice command including a wake command and an action command. An amplitude of the wake command is determined. A gain adjustment for the voice command is calculated based on a comparison of the amplitude of the wake command to a target amplitude. An amplitude of the action command is adjusted based on the calculated gain adjustment for the voice command based on the comparison of the amplitude of the wake command to the target amplitude. A device command for controlling the device is identified based on the action command comprising the adjusted amplitude. The device command is provided to the device.
