    Abstract: An armed toy creature figure has an axe-like element pivotably mounted along its back, which strikes forwardly when disengaged. The plunger for actuating the striker element is associated with the holder by which the figure is supported on the operator's hand, and the figure has flexible legs which carry ring pieces for receiving the tips of the operator's fingers, to permit convenient animation thereof.
