  • Publication number: 20260084027
Abstract: A bean bag toss game target device comprises a support frame adapted to sit on a surface, a first planar game surface supported by the support frame at a first angle to the surface and at a first height above the surface, and a second planar game surface supported by the support frame at a second angle to the surface and at a second height above the surface. The first planar game surface defines a first target hole, and the second planar game surface defines a second target hole. The first planar game surface is closer to the proximal end of the target device than is the second planar game surface, and the second planar game surface is closer to the distal end of the target device than is the first planar game surface. The first height above the surface is less than the second height above the surface.

  • Publication number: 20170337561
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program embodiments are disclosed for providing a collaborative software platform to support professional services. In an embodiment, profile data associated with a user may first be received. The received profile data may include user preference data or user demographic data. Application data associated with the user may then be retrieved from an application database. The application database may store user-specific data to support an interactive application provided by the collaborative software platform. An interface configuration file may be identified based on the received profile data, and the interactive application may be customized according to the identified interface configuration file. Finally, the interactive application may be presented for display to the user.

  • Publication number: 20140172683
Abstract: A method for determining financial risk tolerance for individuals is characterized by the display of portfolio allocations, potential portfolio losses, and demographic comparisons based on a risk score. The visualization of potential losses, which are based on losses to a hypothetical portfolio in a recent downturn market, help an individual better understand his or her comfort level with various investment strategies. This method is of particular benefit to financial advisors for use with their clients so that client specific investment strategies can more easily be formulated.

  • Patent number: 5087396
Abstract: Via holes in a thin planar layer of unfired ceramic which consists essentially of a mixture of an inorganic nonmetallic powder having a high melting temperature and a binder having a lower vaporizing temperature, are formed by the steps of: directing a laser beam, in a sequence, at certain locations on the layer where the via holes are to be formed; controlling the power density in the directed laser beam to a low level at which the binder vaporizes at each of the locations while the powder stays unsintered and unmelted; and removing from the directed laser beam during the above steps, both the vaporized binder and the unbound powder which remains where the binder vaporizes. Preferably, the vaporizing temperature of the binder and the melting temperature of the binder and the melting temperature of the powder are selected such that they differ by at least 200.degree. C.; the power density of the laser is controlled to be between 5 kW/cm.sup.2 and 75 kW/cm.sup.
