  • Publication number: 20240102291
Abstract: A method of fabricating panels includes providing an insert having an interior portion with a top portion and a positioning stop opposite the top portion, and an exterior portion including a fastener hem. Further, the method includes placing the insert in a mold such that only the fastener hem and the positioning stop contact the mold and centering the insert in the mold with the top portion and the positioning stop. The method also includes filling the mold with a casting material such that the interior portion is submerged in the casting material including the top portion, but some of the positioning stop is not submerged in the casting material, curing the casting material to form a panel on the insert, and removing the panel form the mold.

  • Patent number: 6393298
Abstract: In stationary or generally stationary devices that utilize the cellular network as a wireless front-end to another data network and that are involved strictly in machine-to-machine communication activities, a system is provided that supports the re-use of MINs between cellular markets. The system may also be used in other types of networks. A remote device, such as, for example, a cellemetry modem, communicates a commissioning request to a host system that has an associated system identifier (SID). The commissioning request includes a unique serial number (S/N) assigned to the remote device and an initial mobile identification number (MIN). If the remote device has not previously been commissioned, a temporary MIN from a list of predetermined temporary MINs is transmitted; otherwise, a previously assigned permanent MIN is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 4577062
Abstract: A method of dispensing particular information automatically from a changing data source to any particular user. The user accesses the information by dialing the dissemination service through his telephone equipment. The caller's call and subsequent dialed digital sequences, corresponding by prearrangement to specific information requests, are automatically processed. The information from a data base is transmitted to the caller by audible synthesized speech signal through the caller's telephone. Upon request by the caller, the call is automatically transferred to a particular telephone corresponding to prearranged data relevant to the particular caller. Data in the data base may be monitored and a call to a user automatically initiated in the event a particular item reaches a predetermined parameter.
