  • Patent number: 10730326
Abstract: A printhead assembly structured to be removably received into a printhead guide of a media processing device having a platen and a biasing assembly, the printhead assembly comprising a printhead and a support body. The support body is adapted to support the printhead. The support body is structured to slidably translate within the printhead guide between a disengaged position, where the printhead is removed from the platen, and an engaged position, wherein the printhead is positioned proximate the platen. The support body defines an interface member structured to removably engage the biasing assembly.

  • Patent number: 9346294
Abstract: A device for processing media may include a modular design configured with a consumable support assembly configured to load a consumable supply spool and a consumable take-up spool into a device. Embodiments may include a printhead assembly that is structured to be removably received into a printhead guide and movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The printhead assembly may include a cooling channel configured to receive a cooling air flow. The printhead assembly may be easily removed from a media processing device and, when installed, engaged with the platen in response to a lid of the media processing device being closed.

  • Publication number: 20030125998
Abstract: A method for collecting, organizing, presenting, and using data relative to the scene of an emergency situation is disclosed. The method uses a Responder Assets Management System (RAMS) composed of four modules including information, logistics, operations, and planning. The information module makes general information immediately available to responders. The logistics module assists in managing equipment resources during a contingency and includes an equipment manager interface for managing equipment used to respond to an emergency situation. The operations module supports daily operations responsibilities and scales to handle significant emergencies and includes at least one of a situational awareness interface, a response options generator (ROG) interface, an operations manager interface, a messenger interface and a status board interface.

  • Patent number: 4658357
Abstract: A system for automatically logging the interaction between a plurality of objects. Small, self-contained transmitting beacon units are attached or carried by a first set of objects. These beacon units transmit a uniquely coded signal at prescribed intervals. A small, self-contained portable transceiving unit is attached to a second set of objects. The second set of objects typically moves in, about, and among the first set of objects, although either set may move relative to the other. The signals transmitted by the beacon units have a limited range. If the transceiving unit is within this range for a specified period of time, the unique code associated with the transmitted signal is time-logged into a memory element contained within the portable receiving unit. At the end of a specified period of time, such as a work day, the contents of the memory of the transceiving unit may be examined to determine the objects with which an interaction has been had during the time period.
