    Abstract: A pre-filled fuel filter assembly for internal combustion engines includes a filter cartridge containing a requisite quantity of fuel necessary for filter installation and a removable cap sealably enclosing the cartridge, to enable the filter cartridge to be simply and readily installed as a replacement fuel filter in the event of an engine breakdown without requiring transportation of the engine to an available source of fuel supply.
