Abstract: The chair frame of a swivel rocker is slidably mounted via a pair of sleeves on the arms of a pair of flexures mounted on the base of the rocker to allow the chair frame to be moved into different positions on the flexures. Bolts are used to secure the sleeves in place on the flexures. Movement of the sleeves along the flexures changes the position at which the weight of an occupant is transferred to the flexures and thereby changes the bending moments imposed on the flexures.

Abstract: The tilt mechanism has a pair of tubular members and a catch which is fixedly mounted in the upper member and pivotally mounted in the lower member to permit tilting of the two members relative to each other. A pin is mounted in the lower member and is biased into one of several recesses in the lower end of the catch in order to hold the sections in either an upright or a tilted position relative to each other. A coil spring is used to bias the pin into a recess of the catch. Pulling down on the pin allows the tubular members to be tilted relative to each other.

Abstract: The swivel rocker is made of tubular construction, particularly for outdoor use. The seat frame is pivotally mounted about a vertical axis on a stationary base and includes a seat which is secured to a support by arm rests which are able to flex and thus impart a rocking action between the seat and support. The arm rests are curved with ends which are connected to rods which are rotatably mounted in guide tubes of the support.

Abstract: The knock-down table is constructed of a base with interfitting leg frames. The frames have radially disposed horizontal supports on which the tabletop is suppported as well as brackets which receive the ends of the supports in a releasable locking manner. The brackets are disposed in opposed relation to prevent accidental rotation of the tabletop on the base.

Abstract: The collapsible armless chair comprises a pivotally connected seat frame and a back frame which also define the leg supports. An arcuate-shaped projecting portion at the bottom of the back frame provides stability for the chair. The projecting portion is also angled upwardly relative to the ground plane. The user may lean back in the chair until the front leg support leaves the ground and rotate the chair right or left without rising from the chair.

Abstract: The lounge chair is not only pivotal from an upright position into a reclined position via the use of telescoping arms of the arm frame but also collapsible from the upright position into a folded position via hinges at the rear of the chair. The chair can be easily transported and stored in the collapsed condition by either laying flat or by standing upright.

Abstract: The cocktail table leg assembly includes three legs which are pivotally secured together in order to support the table top in a non-rockable manner. Each leg of the leg assembly includes a resiliently deformable tip for frictionally engaging against the peripheral flange of the table when in assembled condition.

Abstract: The joint is formed between two mutually perpendicular tubes by seating a washer in one tube, a nut within the other tube and by passing a bolt through the washer into threaded engagement with the nut. The resulting joint is hidden from view. A spreader bar is formed by joining the ends of two tubular sections within each other after each section is joined to a tube.

Abstract: The sling is secured in a front cross-bar which is pivotally mounted in a suspended manner at the front of the chair to accommodate the various positions of an occupant. Abstract: The U-shaped clamps which secure the canopy to the chair are constructed with a reversely bent leg to prevent pivoting of the canopy towards the front of the chair. Each clamp is made of a one-piece metal blank which is shaped to fit over the chair frame and to receive a canopy leg.
