  • Patent number: 10885797
Abstract: Embodiments for managing drones by one or more processors are described. A condition related to the operation of a drone in a selected area is detected. A set of drone operating parameters associated with the operation of the drone in the selected area is changed based on the detecting of the condition. • Patent number: 10171535
Abstract: A computer system for implementing a method for communicating an audio message file from a computing device to an audio player device. The computer system includes the computing device, the audio player device, and one or more computer readable hardware storage devices containing program instructions which upon being executed on both the computing device and the audio player device, implement the method. An audio message file is generated by the computing device and sent to the audio player device. In response to receipt of the audio message file, the audio player device halts play of a song or other audio content that was being played by the audio player device at a time of receipt of the audio message file, and plays the audio message file.

  • Patent number: 10095854
Abstract: In an approach for automated vehicle authorization. A processor receives a first set of credentials from at least a first near field communication device, wherein the first set of credentials indicates information about a person. A processor receives a second set of credentials from at least a second near field communication device, wherein the second set of credentials indicates information about a vehicle. A processor compares the first set of credentials to the second set of credentials. A processor determines whether the person indicated by the first set of credentials has authority to operate the vehicle, based on, at least, the comparison of the first set of credentials to the second set of credentials.

  • Patent number: 9914359
Abstract: A vehicle can be controlled based on feedback from a driver of the vehicle when a mobile device is connected to a computer system. A profile for a driver can be used. The system can receive data about the driver from the mobile device. The data and answers can be sent to a natural language processing (NLP) system for analysis. The NLP system can return a determination that the user is cognitively disengaged, and thus unable to safely drive the vehicle. The system can then control the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9854015
Abstract: An approach is provided in which a public protection system sends a data collection request to user devices located within a geographical proximity of an incident in progress that instructs the user devices to capture real-time data corresponding to the incident in progress. The public protection system receives the real-time data from the user devices and determines that a set of the real-time data includes evidence data corresponding to the incident in progress.

  • Patent number: 9590982
Abstract: A method of accessing a network wirelessly is described. In the method an authentication is provided to access the network from a wireless device to a first network node via a first wireless signal having a first range. A proximity validation is provided to access the network through the first network node. The proximity validation is provided to the first network node when the wireless device is within a second range of a second wireless signal of a second network node. The second range is less than the first range. The method further provides for accessing the network when both the authentication and the proximity validation are valid.
