Publication number: 20250129644Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes a base defining a cavity; a lid coupled to the base; a latch; and a resilient member. The lid is pivotable between a first state in which the cavity is enclosed and a second state in which the cavity is exposed. The latch includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. Each of the second and third portions interact with the base when the lid is in the first position so as to discourage the lid from transitioning to the second state. The resilient member is disposed between the latch and the lid such that moving the first portion of the latch so as to compress the resilient member moves each of the second and third portions of the latch away from the base.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2024Publication date: April 24, 2025Inventors: William Banta, Spencer Robert Dahl, Samuel Quintrell. Wood, James Calvin Allan, Shaun Christopher. Muston, Jordan Daniel. Lanning, John Mason. MacArthur

Publication number: 20250010737Abstract: A cable handling system at an electrically powered mining or construction vehicle that includes a skid-steered tracked or wheeled vehicle body which is powered for motion by an electric motor. The vehicle is supplied electric power either by an on-board battery and/or fuel cell or through a trailing electrical cable which is arranged to be wound onto and unwound from a cable reel on the vehicle body. The system includes a cable guide assembly that includes an arm member and a cable guide mechanism. A first end of the arm member is rotatably attached at a rear of the vehicle body to be moveable horizontally up to about 90 degrees in either direction around the rear of the vehicle body through an arc centered in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2022Publication date: January 9, 2025Inventors: Peter HOLMSTRÖM, Charlotta IVANSSON, Jörgen ALBREKTSSON, Robert DAHL

Patent number: 12135033Abstract: A monitoring module (13) identifies an operating scenario in a wastewater pumping station, with at least one pump (9a, 9b) arranged for pumping wastewater out of a wastewater pit (1) into a pipe (11). The monitoring module (13) is configured to process at least one load-dependent pump variable indicative of how the at least one pump (9a, 9b) operates and at least one model-based pipe parameter indicative of how the wastewater flows through the pipe (11) and/or the at least one pump (9a, 9b). The monitoring module is configured to identify an operating scenario in the wastewater pumping station by selecting an operating scenario from a group of predefined operating scenarios dependent on at least one first criterion that is based on the at least one load-dependent pump variable and at least one second criterion that is based on the at least one model-based pipe parameter.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2019Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: GRUNDFOS HOLDING A/SInventors: Christian Schou, Christian Robert Dahl Jacobsen, Carsten Skovmose Kallesøe

Patent number: 10464372Abstract: A lock ring spreader is capable of being mounted to a lock ring having a first end and a second end. The lock ring spreader comprises a first mount that is mountable to the lock ring near the first end of the lock ring and a second mount that is mountable to the lock ring near the second end of the lock ring. A crank arm is pivotally coupled to the first mount and extends radially outward from the first mount relative to the lock ring. A link arm is pivotally coupled to the second mount and the crank arm, and extends radially outward from the second mount relative to the lock ring. Pivoting the crank arm radially inward relative to the lock ring pivots the link arm relative to the crank arm and expands the distance between the first mount and the second mount.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2013Date of Patent: November 5, 2019Assignee: GKN Armstrong Wheels, Inc.Inventors: Leonard Austin Hensel, Aaron Robert Dahl, Jose Castillo, Russell Kenneth Morrow

Patent number: 10425367Abstract: A content management server monitors activity on a social networking system originating from an authorized user account. The server detects a post by the account that contains a predefined trigger tag. The server creates a story record in a web publishing application on the server responsive to detecting the post containing the predefined trigger tag. The server automatically generates a direct messaging conversation to populate additional fields of the story record. The server detects a closing inbound direct message from the account containing a publish tag, and responsive to detecting the closing inbound direct message, automatically publishes the story record.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2017Date of Patent: September 24, 2019Assignee: CBS Interactive Inc.Inventors: Eric Robert Dahl, Ka Yan Samatha Tong, Tan Duc Nguyen

Publication number: 20180099369Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for automatically stopping powered machinery, which employs a number of vision sensors. In one embodiment, the system includes vision sensors arranged such that they image different zones defined relative to the cutting tool. The images captured by the vision sensors are processed by the system in real time. If the user's body (e.g., hands) is deemed to be in an unsafe area relative to the cutting tool, the system is configured to automatically stop the cutting tool.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2016Publication date: April 12, 2018Applicant: RED WING SHOE COMPANY, INC.Inventors: Robert Calvin Eastling, Timothy John Schneider, Robert Dahl, Mark Eugene Malde, Amos Allen Huntley, Kenneth Charles Baych

Publication number: 20160339571Abstract: A lock ring spreader is provided. In one aspect, the invention provides for a lock ring spreader that includes a linear actuator suitable for spreading lock rings associated with large wheel rims, for example wheel rims suitable for use with mining equipment. The lock ring spreader includes mounts that can be removably coupled to a lock ring, whereupon the distance between the mounts is increased to expand the lock ring and remove the lock ring from the wheel rim. The lock ring spreader may be remotely controlled.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2015Publication date: November 24, 2016Applicant: GKN ARMSTRONG WHEELS, INC.Inventors: Leonard Austin Hensel, Aaron Robert Dahl, Matthew J. Publication number: 20060102635Abstract: A cake package for packaging full sheet cakes is shown with a cake base and a cake cover. The base tray is comprised of a combination of a one-ply plastic sheet and a two-ply corrugated cardboard. To assemble the present invention, a full sheet cake is first mounted to the cake base in the conventional manner. Food grade glue is applied at strategic points along a groove of the plastic tray base. Then, the cover is attached to the cake base by an interlocking snapping mechanism. The glue temporarily adheres the cover to the base, preventing separation. The rigid plastic three-ply base, together with the adhesive snap-seal eliminates the need for a cake board and allows for easy stacking without crushing. Ridges are located in the cake base and cake cover for increased strength.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2004Publication date: May 18, 2006Inventor: Robert Dahl
