  • Publication number: 20210311316
Abstract: Architectures are provided for selectively outputting light for forming images, the light having different wavelengths and being outputted with low levels of crosstalk. In some embodiments, light is incoupled into a waveguide and deflected to propagate in different directions, depending on wavelength. The incoupled light then outcoupled by outcoupling optical elements that outcouple light based on the direction of propagation of the light. In some other embodiments, color filters are between a waveguide and outcoupling elements. The color filters limit the wavelengths of light that interact with and are outcoupled by the outcoupling elements. In yet other embodiments, a different waveguide is provided for each range of wavelengths to be outputted. Incoupling optical elements selectively incouple light of the appropriate range of wavelengths into a corresponding waveguide, from which the light is outcoupled.

  • Publication number: 20210240217
Abstract: Techniques described herein address these and other issues by utilizing two or more sensors to take temperature measurements from which a temperature-differential or instantaneous temperature rate-of-change, can be determined. In turn, this can be used to make a highly accurate model of the relationship between the temperature, temperature-differential, and clock circuitry frequency, to accurately estimate the frequency rate-of-change for frequency correction/compensation.

  • Patent number: 11054456
Abstract: System and methods for determining loading on supply lines of a three-phase power distribution system. Load meters are connected to the supply lines to receive power. A feeder meter is connected to a supply line designated the reference supply line having a known reference phase. A device generates a timing pulse received by the load meters and the feeder meter. The load meters and feeder meter each determine a respective time delay and feeder meter delay from receiving the timing pulse until a landmark value of the power received. The feeder meter delay corresponds to the reference phase. Each load meter and feeder meter includes a transmission device to transmit the time delay or feeder meter delay. An end server receives the time delays and feeder meter delay and assigns each load meter to a phase by comparing the time delay for a load meter to the feeder meter delay.

  • Publication number: 20210146382
Abstract: A liquid dispensing valve for dispensing of liquid solution, the liquid dispensing valve operable to create a vacuum buildup of pressure, such that the liquid moves on a recirculation path from the intake port to the output port. The recirculation of the liquid prevents sediment within the liquid from settling, and further prevents backpressure, and allows for continuous recirculation of the solution through a suction return line, providing generally consistent flow of liquid. The liquid dispensing valve's ability to minimize sediment buildup allows for a quick cleaning of the lines while also minimizing potential contamination of the general area.

  • Patent number: 10963046
Abstract: A system tracks eye position using a first Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) eye tracking unit to determine a first position of an eye of a user. The OCT eye tracking unit projects low coherence interference light onto a portion of the user's eye, and uses captured light reflected from the illuminated portion of the user's eye to generate a dataset describing the portion of the user's eye. The first position of the user's eye is determined based upon the generated dataset and a previously generated dataset. In order to minimize error and reduce the effects of draft, a reference tracking system is configured to determine a second position of the user's eye, which is used to update the determined first position of the user's eye.

  • Patent number: 10948543
Abstract: A system for determining a discharge power limit value of a battery cell is provided. A microprocessor calculates an adjusted maximum allowed voltage drop value based on a maximum allowed voltage drop value, and an estimated delta OCV value at N seconds after a first time. The estimated delta OCV value is calculated based on a first discharge current level. The microprocessor calculates a second discharge current level through the battery cell for N seconds to obtain the adjusted maximum allowed voltage drop value. The microprocessor calculates a discharge power limit value based on the second discharge current level that indicates an amount of power from the battery cell for N seconds without the voltage across the battery cell falling below a minimum allowed voltage of the battery cell.

  • Patent number: 10948547
Abstract: A battery monitoring system includes a current sensor and a voltage sensor coupled to a battery cell. It also includes a microcontroller that opportunistically computes many estimates of the cell's ohmic resistance and filters these estimates to arrive at a stable value. Each estimate is traditionally computed from a delta change in voltage divided by delta change in current measured before and after a significant change in current magnitude. An improvement in accuracy of each resistance estimate is achieved by only computing an estimate if the rate of change of voltage and the rate of change of current exhibited by the values making up the delta voltage and delta current are tightly consistent and of the same polarity. This approach significantly minimizes errors induced in estimates not preselected in this manner by the different and also asynchronous sample rates of the cell's voltage and current.
