  • Publication number: 20050086754
Abstract: An improved grill brush for cleaning grill grates and a cleaning system including a grill grate specifically adapted for use with the disclosed grill brush. The grill brush includes a head portion and a handle portion. A plurality of metallic bristles are mounted to and extend from at least one surface of the head. The metallic bristles have first and second lengths selected and arranged in one embodiment so as to form parallel rows of bristles of different heights. In another embodiment, the contour of the bristles generally conforms to the contour of the grill grate with which the brush is intended to be used.

Abstract: An improved grill brush for cleaning grill grates and a cleaning system including a grill grate specifically adapted for use with the disclosed grill brush includes a head portion and a handle portion. A plurality of metallic bristles is mounted to and extends from at least one surface of the head. Some of the bristles are made of a first metal and others of the bristles are made of a second metal. In one embodiment, one metal is stiffer than the other metal, the stiffer bristles are shorter than the more flexible bristles, and the bristles are arranged so as to form rows of short, stiff bristles parallel to rows of long, flexible bristles. In this embodiment, the length and configuration of the bristles is generally specified for the grill grate with which the brush is intended to be used to facilitate cleaning the top and side portions of the grill grate. In another embodiment, the bristles are fabricated of at least two different materials and are of the same length.

  • Patent number: 6363074
Abstract: An inter-machine trunk (IMT) is provisioned between two witches through an ATM network. The IMT includes a number of virtual connections (VCs) and cell slots within each VC for carrying telephone calls. The IMT is established by multiple repetitions of an inter-switch signaling process, each resulting in the creation of one VC. The number of VCs and cell slots for the IMT is selected based on provisioning information from a network operator. The IMT may be either a pre-established IMT (“PIMT”) or an on-demand IMT (“VIMT”). A PIMT is a quasi-permanent connection set up and torn down by an operator to provide some guaranteed data-carrying capacity on the IMT. A VIMT is created automatically upon receipt of a call when no connections are available on the IMT. An IMT can use both a PIMT and a VIMT. When a call request is received at a switch, a call processor determines whether the IMT is to carry the call.
