  • Patent number: 10368646
Abstract: An adjustable lumbar support mechanism for adjusting a position of a lumbar support in a seating unit is provided. The mechanism includes a pair of spaced apart swing links that are pivotally coupled on an upper end to the back frame of the seating unit. The lower free end of each swing link is coupled to a lumbar support. An actuating mechanism is coupled on an upper end to the back frame, and on a lower end is pivotally coupled to the lumbar support. • Publication number: 20190220480
Abstract: In example embodiments, a system and method for providing item notifications is provided. A networked system receives, from a device of a user, a selection of an item from a list for monitoring. The network system also receives, from the device of the user, a condition that triggers the reporting of news for the selected item. The network system monitors for news for the selected item. A determination is made as to whether the condition that triggers the reporting of the news is satisfied. In response to determining that the condition that triggers the reporting of the news is satisfied, the networked system transmits a notification to the user indicating the news for the selected item.

  • Publication number: 20190222022
Abstract: A multi-energy storage device system includes an electric drive coupled to a load, a DC link coupled to the electric drive, and a bi-directional voltage converter having an output channel coupled to the DC link and an input channel. A first energy storage device (ESD) is coupled to the input channel, and a switch is coupled to the DC link and to a second ESD. A system controller causes the switch to couple the second ESD to the DC link for delivering energy stored in the second ESD to the electric drive. The system controller also causes the voltage converter to convert a voltage of the first ESD to a higher voltage and to deliver the higher voltage to the DC link, wherein the higher voltage is greater than the voltage of the second ESD and causes the switch to decouple the second ESD from the DC link.

  • Patent number: 10346833
Abstract: A method and a system convert the value of a gift card for use with a mobile device. The value of the gift card is determined from an issuer of the gift card. The value of the gift card is stored in a digital payment account in a storage device. The digital payment account stores values of gift cards from issuers. A financial transaction corresponding to the issuer of the gift card is performed on the digital payment account. The value of a first gift card from a first issuer of a first digital payment account is exchanged with the value of a second gift card from a second issuer of a second digital payment account.

  • Patent number: 10334459
Abstract: A coverage solution recommendation tool may generate prioritized lists of coverage solutions for resolving a network coverage problem at a location. The tool may obtain network parameters of a wireless communication network that provides services to user devices at the location. The tool may further acquire device parameters of the user devices used at the location, as well as collect environment parameters associated with the location. The environment parameters may affect whether a wireless telecommunication carrier is able to leverage additional coverage solutions to provide services at the location. Accordingly, the coverage solution tool may generate a prioritized list of coverage solutions for resolving the network coverage problem based on the parameters.

  • Patent number: 10302521
Abstract: A tool connects a source of compressed air to a low pressure service port valve of a refrigerant system for pressurizing the refrigerant system with air to locate leaks. The tool includes a connector, an air pressure regulator having a control knob and a pressure gauge, and an air hose fitting having an inlet for removable attachment to an air hose of the air source and an outlet in communication with the air pressure regulator inlet. The connector outlet is configured for removable attachment to the low pressure service port valve for air flow from the connecter outlet into the low pressure service port valve. The air pressure regulator outlet is in air flow communication with the connector inlet. With the tool installed, the closed refrigerant system can be pressured with air to a desired air pressure so that leaks become apparent by compressed air escaping.

  • Publication number: 20190146509
Abstract: A system and method for autonomous vehicle routing using annotated maps. For at least some path segments within a geographic region in which the vehicle is operating, values are determined for the path segments based at least on risk factors associated with autonomous operation of the vehicle along each path segment. Path segments are combined to generate a travel route, from a first location to a second location, based on the determined values, and the vehicle is controlled to navigate along the travel route.

  • Patent number: 10289697
Abstract: Example embodiments provide systems and methods for onboarding a collection of items. In example embodiments, image data containing images of a plurality of items from a client device is received. The image data is parsed to distinguish an item of the plurality of items. The item is then identified. In some embodiments, the item is identified by determining at least one catalog item that matches an identifying feature of the item, providing a verification request indicating the at least one catalog item, and receiving a verification response confirming the identity of the item. An inventory list is compiled by including the identified item in the inventory list.

  • Patent number: 10270252
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for receiving a first magnitude of AC-sourced current at an inverter/charger from an AC bus and receiving a second magnitude of DC-sourced current at the inverter/charger from a DC bus. Then, a third magnitude of current is delivered to a load coupled to the AC bus. Given the dual originating sources of possible current to supply power to the load, the method may determine if the third magnitude of current being delivered to the load is less than the second magnitude of DC-sourced current and then, in response, converting a portion of the first magnitude of AC-sourced current into DC current to charge a DC source. Similarly, the method may determine if the third magnitude of current being delivered to the load is greater than the second magnitude DC-sourced current, and then, in response, inverting the DC-sourced current into an AC current.
