  • Publication number: 20260146823
Abstract: A holster for a weapon such as a handgun that has a trigger guard and a trigger, includes a holster body for receiving the holstered weapon. The holster body defines a chamber that includes a trigger area that receives the trigger guard and the trigger. The trigger area has a bottom opening though which the trigger guard of a holstered weapon can be accessed. An access guard is secured to the holster body adjacent to the trigger area. The access guard has a flexible portion extending across and covering the bottom opening of the trigger area.

  • Publication number: 20260146825
Abstract: A holster for a weapon that has a muzzle with a forward end portion, includes a holster body substantially enclosing the weapon when the weapon is holstered. The holster body has a back portion defining an entranceway of the holster for holstering the weapon, and a cap support portion at its forward end opposite the entranceway. A muzzle end cap is formed separately from the holster body and is moved onto and secured on the cap support portion of the holster body during assembly of the holster in a position surrounding the cap support portion. The muzzle end cap has an inside surface that forms a forward stop that is engaged by the forward end portion of the weapon when holstering the weapon.

  • Publication number: 20260146824
Abstract: A holster for a weapon such as a handgun has a first longitudinal end defining an entranceway to the holster and an opposite second longitudinal end for receiving the muzzle of the weapon. The holster includes a first holster body piece; a second holster body piece that is joined to the first holster piece; a first clamp that joins the first and second holster body pieces adjacent to the first end of the holster; a second clamp that joins the first and second holster body pieces at a location intermediate the first and second ends of the holster; and a third clamp that joins the first and second holster body pieces adjacent to the second end of the holster.

  • Publication number: 20260146826
Abstract: A holster support assembly includes a track member and a holster mount device that is slidable along the track member. A release mechanism is operable to lock the holster mount device in position on the track member, or to release the holster mount device for sliding movement along the track member. The release mechanism includes a spring that biases the lock bar into a locking position.

  • Patent number: 12442619
Abstract: A holster for a weapon such as an electric discharge weapon is made from two pieces joined together to form the holster end wall. The holster right piece has a right end wall part that is molded with both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. The holster left piece has a left end wall part that is molded to have both thin wall and also selected thick wall areas that are intentionally molded as thick wall areas. When assembled, thin wall areas of the left end wall part overlap thin wall areas of the right end wall part to thereby form a first thick wall region of the holster end wall. Thick wall areas of the right piece end wall part interfit with thick wall areas of the left piece end wall part to form a second thick wall region of the holster end wall.

  • Publication number: 20250251214
Abstract: A holster for a handgun assembly includes a holster body having a chamber for receiving the handgun assembly. A tensioner is mounted on the holster body in a position to be engaged by the handgun assembly in the chamber, and is operable to apply a resilient biasing force to the handgun assembly in the chamber. The tensioner includes tensioner body that is engaged and deformed by the handgun assembly, and a spring for resisting and controlling deformation of the tensioner body. The tensioner has a first end portion mounted on the holster body for only rotational movement on the holster body, and a second end portion mounted on the holster body for both sliding and rotational movement on the holster body. A tension spring maintains tension on the tensioner body.

  • Patent number: 12379184
Abstract: A trigger guard stabilizer for a holster provides trigger guard side-to-side support. Because the trigger guard stabilizer is spring-loaded, and can be depressed into a receiving pocket, it automatically moves downward out of the way if a taller light passes over the stabilizer top during a holstering action. Once the light has passed over the stabilizer, the stabilizer springs back into a position with portions that extend on either side of the trigger guard. This helps to hold the trigger guard centered laterally in the holster, thus impeding unwanted access to the trigger.
