  • Publication number: 20170132396
Abstract: An MCM system is provided for multiple audiences or programs for a system and method of handling participants. The MCM eliminates unnecessary human decision making by using measurements of key data to algorithmically determine future actions. The individual systems are programmed to handle recommendations of content (content management) and to produce workflow, reports, and analytics based on the core content of a program. The MCM system is used to manage participant behaviors, for example, those involved in Population Health Management, Care Management, Managed Care, treatment/care/behavior planning, and workforce development. The MCM provides recommendations and predictions about patients from a specific healthcare plan or patients sharing similar conditions. This system has recurring measurements and actionable outcomes that allow participants to meet their goals incrementally over established clinical timespans.

  • Patent number: 5678867
Abstract: A hose fitting assembly which includes a relatively rigid tubular element, an outer sleeve or element defining with a tail of the element an annular chamber for receiving an end part of the hose, a thrust mechanism for compressing the hose axially into contact with the tail, a mechanism locking the outer sleeve to the inner element and a thrust member for completing the fastening.

  • Patent number: 5073682
Abstract: A cable for use as aerial service wire having a core of conductors and a load carrier in the form of a plurality of spaced apart tensile reinforcing members spaced from the core as a group laterally on one side of the core. Part of the jacket surrounds the core and is interconnected to another jacket part surrounding the group of filaments. The jacket part surrounding the filament group has a width greater than its thickness so that it may fit within a wedge clamp for stringing purposes. The two parts of the jacket are capable of being separated between the filament group and the core to allow a wedge clamp to be fitted. For this purpose, the cable may be fitted with a non-adherent tape inside the jacket and between the jacket parts with the jacket parts interconnecting around edges of the tape.

  • Patent number: 4194692
Abstract: An integrated thrust reverser vertical thrust control and divergent nozzle for controlling the exiting gases from a thrust producing aircraft engine. The nozzle comprises at least two nozzle reverser doors that are pivotable about a fore and aft aircraft pivotal connection and an actuator system for pivoting the doors. The pivotable connection at each pivot point is remotely disengageable allowing the doors to selectively pivot about either their forward or aft connection. The doors can be positioned through an infinite number of different positions through their travel about either pivotal connection. When in a forward thrust mode the two nozzle reverser doors pivot about their forward pivot point, when in a reverse mode about their aft pivot connections and a combination of forward and aft pivot connections for aircraft vectoring.

  • Patent number: 4185798
Abstract: A thrust reverser for a fan jet engine enclosed by an engine nacelle. The nacelle has a forward section fixed to the aircraft structure and a rearward translatable section attached to the forward section. The nacelle forming a secondary fan nozzle. A pair of blocker doors are pivotally attached to the rearward translatable nacelle section. Drag links are pivotally attached to the forward nacelle section and one of the drag link connects to each blocker door. A cascade ring is fixedly attached to the rear nacelle section and is translatable therewith for positioning within the opening between the nacelle portions when the rearward section is in a translated position. An air motor with drive connections to a plurality of ball-screw actuators provides the means for uniformly translating the rearward section. A recess in the inner surface of the rearward section is provided for the stowing of the links in a position out of the engine gas flow stream when the rearward section is in its stowed forward position.
