Patent number: 11337870Abstract: A self-propelled emergency stretcher includes an elongate frame having a set of wheels a track drive unit mounted thereto. The set of wheels includes first wheels at a front end of the frame and second wheels at a rear end of the frame, and the track drive unit is mounted between the first wheels and the second wheels. A plurality of actuators is configured to raise and lower the first wheels and the second wheels relative to the frame, so as to selectively switch the emergency stretcher between a self-propelled configuration and a manually-propelled configuration. In the self-propelled configuration the first wheels and the second wheels are out of contact with a ground surface below the emergency stretcher and the track drive unit is in contact with the ground surface. In the manually-propelled configuration the first wheels and the second wheels are in contact with the ground surface and the track drive unit is out of contact with the ground surface.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2020Date of Patent: May 24, 2022Inventors: Bradley Michael Thompson, Rodney Eugene Thompson, Jason Christopher Watt, James Robert Dodge, Julian Jan Oscroft

Publication number: 20220146038Abstract: A pipe insulation coupling supports a pipe and couples adjacent ends of pipe insulation tubing. The pipe insulation coupling comprises an elongated tube, an inner tube wall, an inner transverse wall, a first end wall, a second end wall, and a molded threaded insert. The elongated tube extends along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The inner tube wall is spaced inwardly from the elongated tube and extends along the longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end. The elongated tube and the inner tube wall are split longitudinally from the first end to the second end to define a first body portion and a second body portion. The inner transverse wall extends inwardly from the inner tube wall transverse to the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends. The inner transverse wall includes a center bore for receiving the pipe and provides an abutment for the adjacent ends of the insulation tubing.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2020Publication date: May 12, 2022Applicant: ZSI, INC.Inventors: Robert DODGE, Mark SCHWAGER
