  • Publication number: 20240091888
Abstract: The present disclosure provides battery module manufacturing clamping assembly and a method of clamping a battery pallet for welding. According to the present disclosure, a battery module manufacturing clamping assembly comprises a pallet assembly, a clamping plate, and a lift system for actuating the pallet assembly with respect to the clamping plate. The pallet assembly comprises a spring under each battery cell in the battery pallet, and the battery pallet can be actuated by the lift system into a clamped position where the pallet base plate and the clamping plate cause a top portion of the plurality of battery cells to be in contact with the conductive lattice structure for welding, and wherein a pre-determined contact force is applied to the battery cells by the plurality of springs.

  • Publication number: 20240096132
Abstract: Far field devices typically rely on audio only for enabling user interaction and involve only audio processing. Adding a vision-based modality can greatly improve the user interface of far field devices to make them more natural to the user. For instance, users can look at the device to interact with it rather than having to repeatedly utter a wakeword. Vision can also be used to assist audio processing, such as to improve the beamformer. For instance, vision can be used for direction of arrival estimation. Combining vision and audio can greatly enhance the user interface and performance of far field devices.

  • Patent number: 10960256
Abstract: A workout bench is disclosed that has rectanguloid front and rear containers each connected with two opposing rectanguloid side containers therebetween. The front and rear containers are least partially open. Each side container is open at an outward, lateral side thereof. The containers are each flush at their top, bottom, and lateral sides. The containers each define an internal storage volume therein, with the front and rear containers accessible from their partially open top sides. The workout bench also has a benchtop pivotally fixed with the front container, with a selectively movable brace for holding the benchtop at one of a plurality of predefined angular positions with respect to the top sides of the containers. A plurality of feet project away from the bottom sides of at least two of the containers.

  • Publication number: 20190096787
Abstract: A power semiconductor package is disclosed having a base plate with a first surface and an opposing second surface. At least one power semiconductor module can be mounted to the first surface of the base plate. A cooling structure having at least one cavity for containing a cooling liquid therein is disclosed. A contact rim is arranged around a perimeter of the cavity and configured to receive an adhesive. The contact rim is affixed parallel to and abutting against the second surface of the base plate thereby forming a hermetic seal at the adhesive. A power converter and method for attaching and sealing a semiconductor cooling structure in a semiconductor package is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9872403
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an electrical cabinet for an electrical assembly for a wind turbine. The electrical cabinet has one or more walls that define an internal volume having one or more electrical components configured therein. One or more of the walls includes an inner panel and an outer panel mounted to the inner panel. The inner panel includes an inner vent and the outer panel includes an outer vent. Further, the panels are arranged together so as to define a flow path between the inner and outer vents. Thus, during normal operation, air is directed from outside of the electrical cabinet to the internal volume of the electrical cabinet via the flow path so as to cool the one or more electrical components. Further, during a fault event, gas is permitted to exit the internal volume of the electrical cabinet via the flow path.

  • Publication number: 20170171729
Abstract: Systems and methods of announcing device communication availability are disclosed. A first computing device encodes first profile information into an announcement message. The announcement message includes an address field for storing a data link layer address, and the first profile information is encoded into the data link layer address stored in the address field. The first computing device then broadcasts the announcement message. Upon receipt of the announcement message at a second computing device, the second computing device decodes the data link layer address stored in the address field of the announcement message, to extract the first profile information. The second computing device compares the first profile information to second profile information stored at the second computing device; and based on the comparison, determines whether the first computing device is suitable for communication with the second computing device.

  • Patent number: 5658779
Abstract: A method of adsorbing from a solution comprising a biological sample viruses which retain their viability and infectivity. The method comprises adjusting the pH of said solution to pH 6.0 to 8.0; adding an effective amount of a water insoluble cross-linked polycarboxylic acid polymer ("WCPP") into said solution in a volume:volume ratio of WCPP to solution of 100:1 to 1:10,000 to form a WCPP-solution mixture; incubating said WCPP-solution mixture for a time sufficient to immobilize said viruses on said WCPP forming a WCPP-virus matrix; and separating said matrix from said solution. This novel method is suitable for removing, purifying, recovering and analyzing viable viruses as well as viral components such as viral proteins and nucleic acids.
