  • Publication number: 20050093404
Abstract: A mini-communications center for paper and wired or wireless communications is mounted into or onto a wall. The center comprises a lockable box made out of wood, plastic or metal with a lid that can serve as a writing desk when folded out to a horizontal position supported by door stays.

  • Publication number: 20050087049
Abstract: A sawing apparatus and a saw fence. The saw apparatus may include a work surface. The saw may include a rail system disposed along the edges of the work surface, for the attachment of accessories thereto. The saw may be provided with workpiece guide adapted to be attached to the rail system for guiding workpieces during the operation of the saw. The workpiece guide may also be provided with an infeed extension that rides on the rail system and is capable of supporting workpieces during the operation of the saw. The infeed extension may be adjustable relative to the work surface of the saw. The saw may further be provided with a debris collection system for the collection of debris produced by the cutting operations of the saw.

  • Publication number: 20040168555
Abstract: A tensioning mechanism for a band saw comprises a tension spring assembly coupled with a sliding tension bracket which is adjustably coupled with an upper arm of the band saw. The sliding tension bracket engages an upper band wheel which couples with a band saw blade. A cam assembly is coupled with the tension spring assembly, the cam assembly imparts a rotational force which is translated into a linear tensioning force by the tension spring assembly upon the band saw blade. A cover assembly is selectively engaged with the cam assembly through use of a biasing assembly. The cover assembly includes an index indicator for identifying an index position, corresponding with the width of the band saw blade, of the cover assembly relative to the cam assembly. The cover assembly includes a handle which enables a user to selectively engage and rotate the cover assembly. The rotation of the handle in turn rotates the cam assembly applying the rotational force which is translated into the tensioning force.

  • Patent number: 6311063
Abstract: A method of and system for emulation of multiple subscriber profiles on a single telephone in a telecommunications network. An identified group contains more than one subscriber profile. The system is activated when a user selects a subscriber profile to be associated with the telephone being used. In response to the selection, the system determines whether the selected subscriber profile is within the group. If it is, the system associates the selected subscriber profile from the group with the telephone, such that the telephone emulates the selected subscriber profile. If the selected subscriber profile is not within the group, the subscriber profile associated with the telephone is unchanged.

  • Patent number: 4122038
Abstract: Cellular urethane polymers are provided by effecting the reaction of an organic polyol reactant comprising a polyether polyol and an organic polyisocyanate reactant in the presence of a blowing agent and a catalyst system comprising a tertiary-dimethylamino ether mono-ol. In the dimethylamino ether mono-ols employed as catalysts in the practice of the invention, the tertiary-dimethylamino group and the hydroxyl group are positioned beta to a common acyclic ether oxygen atom or to different acyclic ether oxygen atoms which in turn are positioned beta to one another. The said dimethylamino ether mono-ols are versatile, low odor catalysts and are useful in forming cellular urethane polymers ranging from all water-blown flexible polyether foam to all fluorocarbon-blown rigid foam including semi-flexible and high-resilience foam products.

  • Patent number: 4082703
Abstract: This invention relates to novel polyurethane prepolymers which consist essentially of the reaction product of a polyoxyalkylene polyol having a critical oxyethylene content and an isocyanate constituent, the reaction product having a defined level of free NCO. Particularly useful prepolymers are produced using a tolylene diisocyanate residue. The prepolymers provided have outstanding utility for rebonding polyurethane foams for applications such as, for example, carpet underlays and allow significant reductions in the adhesive level used in forming such rebonded foams and in the demolding cure times in comparison with presently used prepolymer adhesives. The prepolymers are also useful for applications in which polyurethane prepolymers are used presently such as, for example, in hydrophilic foams.
