  • Patent number: 7712914
Abstract: A device is provided to apply make-up (10) in low-light situations. The device has a body tube (14), with a first and a second and a intermediate portion therebetween. The first end has a radial cross-section with an inner portion and an annular outer portion. Mounted in the inner portion of the first end is a make-up (10) applying means (16). Surrounding the make-up applying means (16) is an illuminating means (22) for illuminating, positioned in the annular outer portion of the first end. It is adapted to project the illumination axially outwardly. The illuminating means (22) is power by a powering means (24) is activated by a switch (621).

  • Patent number: 5803268
Abstract: A bottle for perfume and the like has two separate compartments. Each of two interior spaces has its own closure/dispenser (eg. spray fitting or pump), one at each end, so that two different liquids can be contained and dispensed separately in different ways. An outer container space is defined between an outer wall and an inner wall; the inner containing space is inside the inner wall. The inner and outer walls are joined where the neck of the inner-wall container meets the bottom of the outer-wall container. The bottle may include end caps which cover the two closures/dispensers at either end, for a symmetrical, elongated shape somewhat like a cigar. The ends caps may also double as closures.

  • Patent number: 4815483
Abstract: A cosmetic package has matching shallow trays of cosmetics individually coupled closely one above the other to an upstanding cylindrical post for relative rotation of the trays about the post axis in planes normal to the axis. A rectangular solid block forms a stable base that provides support for the post and for a cosmetic applicator receptable alongside which the trays are disposed when they have an aligned mutually stacked relation overlying the base. The base also supports a removable cover enclosing the tray stack, the post and the receptacle with applicators. The tray coupling to the post permits removal of any selected tray from the package for replacement or replenishment merely by displacing the tray a given angular distance from its aligned mutually stacked relation overlying the base. Such coupling is by way of a partially cylindrical cut-out in the rim of the tray, the cut-out being open along the height of the outer edge of the rim to permit lateral ingress and egress of the post.
