Abstract: Systems and methods are provided wherein multiple accounts are associated with a player. According to one embodiment, a first account and a second account are associated with the player. The first account and the second account may comprise, for example, a player-funded account, a player-winnings account, a free-play account, an escrow account, a tax-withholding account, and/or a payout account. At least one of the first account and the second account may then be updated (e.g., based on game play by the player). An account may be updated, for example, as the player plays a game of skill using a remote player device to communicate with a game controller via a communication network.
