The peroxide system can be hydrogen peroxide stabilized with a phosphonate such as HEDP. The glycol solvent system may be a propylene glycol ether such as dipropylene glycol methylether or tripropylene glycol methylether. This solution can be formulated with a pH from about 4 to about 12. This is used by recirculating it through a paper making equipment during a shut down procedure.

    Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing solid or semi-solid detergents includes a hollow elongated opening or chute and an arcuate plate that extends from the side wall of the apparatus to beneath the chute. This plate provides a planar support for a detergent bar placed within the chute. Water is sprayed down the arcuate plate and projects against the detergent supported on the planar support causing it to dissolve and flow down a drain. The chute has a unique geometric design which is suitable to receive only one uniquely shaped elongated detergent bar. In a kitchen having several detergent dispensers, each detergent dispenser will have a uniquely defined chute so that only the appropriate detergent can be used in the appropriate dispenser.

    Abstract: An aqueous composition which produces a clear, protective coating on a wide variety of surfaces, consisting essentially of a suspension of vinylidene polymers, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, a halogenated polysilane surfactant, sodium benzoate rust proofer, defoamer (mineral oil in ethylene glycol monobutyl ether), and water. A cleaning and priming composition is also provided, for removal of graffiti and the protective coating. The latter comprises preferably ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, methylene chloride, nonylphenol ethoxylate, triethanolamine, and water.
