Abstract: A line stop adapter for use with a mechanical joint outlet has a body including a flange portion and a sleeve portion. The flange portion has oppositely disposed upper and lower mounting surfaces and an axial opening. The sleeve portion extends downwardly from an upper end to a lower end and has a bore. The flange portion opening and the sleeve portion bore define a body aperture extending between, and fluidly connecting, the flange portion upper mounting surface and the sleeve portion lower end. The sleeve portion bore includes upper, middle and lower sections defining upper, middle and a lower wall portions. The sleeve portion lower wall portion has a diameter that increases from the middle wall portion to the lower end defining a frustoconical shape.

Abstract: A line stop adapter includes a body having a tapping flange mounting surface, adapted for mounting to a tapping sleeve flange, and an opposing valve mounting surface, adapted for mounting to a temporary valve. An interior wall forms a body aperture fluidly connecting the mounting surfaces. A portion of the interior wall is adapted to receive and selectively engage a completion plug, allowing the completion plug to fluidly seal the body aperture. Multiple engagement portions are arranged around the body aperture for securing the tapping flange mounting surface to the tapping sleeve.

Abstract: An improved grate riser assembly for use with catch basins and the like comprising vertically open rectangular frames with two opposing frame sections carrying inwardly projecting horizontally grate support flanges. Cooperating grates have opposite end portions of parallel spaced apart grate members resting on the flanges. The grate riser assembly includes two or more grate risers having vertically open generally rectangular frames coextensive with a catch basin frame and with opposing vertical side and end wall sections of a height substantially equal to the depth of pavement overlay. The frame rests atop a catch basin frame with its top edge substantially level with the top surface of the pavement overlay. At least two horizontally spaced connectors depend from each of two opposing grate riser frame sections to support a pair of elevated horizontal grate support members. The connectors on one frame section are spaced widely apart and on the other frame section narrowly apart.

The grate riser has a vertically open generally rectangular frame coextensive with a catch basin frame with opposing vertical side and end wall sections of a height substantially equal to the depth of new road pavement. The frame rests atop a catch basin frame with its top edge substantially level with the top surface of new pavement. At least two horizontally spaced upper riser elements depend from each of two opposing grate riser frame sections to support a pair of elevated horizontal grate support flanges. The grate support flanges have lower riser elements depending therefrom in the form of flanges which rest on the grate support flanges of the catch basin.
