  • Publication number: 20160159565
Abstract: A dual tank assembly is provided for storing agricultural and industrial liquids. The assembly includes an outer tank and an inner tank nested within the outer tank. The outer tank has an upper shelf and the inner tank has a rim overlying the shelf with a leaf gasket therebetween to seal the space between the shelf and the rim. The outer tank includes a recessed flat wall adjacent the bottom of the tank to mate with a flat wall in the inner tank. A compression fitting is tightened to sandwich a gasket between the flat wall portions of the inner and outer tanks. A drain fitting extends through the flat portions of the tank for draining liquid from the inner tank. A separate drain plug is provided for draining liquid from the outer tank.

  • Patent number: 9162816
Abstract: A dual wall storage container assembly is provided for storing liquids. The container includes a one-piece, molded inner tank which can be installed and removed from a molded outer tank. Notches are provided adjacent the bottom of the outer tank to align the inner tank within the outer tank. A horizontal shelf surrounds the mouth of the outer tank, with a horizontal shoulder on the top of the inner tank overlying the shelf. A seal is provided between the shelf and the shoulder to inhibit moisture migration. A drip edge is provided on the top outer perimeter of the inner tank to further inhibit moisture migration between the shelf and the shoulder. A tab on the shoulder is received in a notch in the shelf to preclude rotation between the nested tanks. Lifting flanges on the outer tank allow both tanks to be lifted simultaneously while nested together.

  • Patent number: 6592837
Abstract: Ground calcium carbonate compositions having narrow particle size distributions and a method for producing the compositions. The method involves forming a substantially dispersant-free calcium carbonate suspension, wet-grinding the suspension, and aging the suspension. The method does not require the use of classification equipment and the aging process does not require heating.

  • Patent number: 5573658
Abstract: A low brightness pigment and method is provided from a heretofore rejected waste kaolin stream. Kaolin processing rejects are high in iron-stained TiO.sub.2. After separating the stained TiO.sub.2 from the high brightness kaolin and concentrating the resulting fraction, the material can be processed to produce a low brightness pigment suitable of many applications where lower brightness is desirable, such as coating paper board without mottling.

  • Patent number: 5158415
Abstract: A suspension system for brake calipers wherein two brake rods pass through two plates so that the brake rods are aligned parallel to each other. The barke rods are longer than the distance between the two plates so that the ends of the brake rods extend away from the two plates far enough to hold brake calipers in place about the brake discs. Each brake rod further includes compression springs mounted thereon and located between the plates so that when the appropriate spring are compressed, the corresponding ends of the brake rods can be withdrawn from their position holding the caliper. This allows easy and convenient access to the calipers for removal.
