  • Publication number: 20140062146
Abstract: A foldable stroller includes a frame body, a recline adjustment mechanism and a linking component. The frame body includes a seat, a push handle, an armrest, a front leg, a rear leg, and a seatback pivoted on the seat. An end of the armrest is pivoted on the push handle, and the other end of the armrest is pivoted on the front leg and the rear leg. The armrest, an upper portion of the front leg and an upper portion of the rear leg are formed as a lateral frame. The recline adjustment mechanism is for adjusting a reclined angle of the seatback. The linking component is connected between the seatback and the lateral frame, and the lateral frame rotates upwards relative to the push handle to move the linking component upwards, so as to drive the seatback to an upright position as folding the frame body.

  • Publication number: 20140018179
Abstract: A child motion apparatus includes an upright column defining a vertical axis, a carriage assembled with the upright column and including a swing shaft portion operable to rotate about a pivot axis, a swing arm affixed with the swing shaft portion, a first motor drive unit assembled with the carriage and having an output shaft, a drive transmission respectively connected with the output shaft and the swing shaft portion, a second motor drive unit assembled with the upright column, and an actuating mechanism respectively connected with the second motor drive unit and the carriage. The drive transmission can transfer an output drive provided by the first motor drive unit at the output shaft to the swing shaft portion to impart rotation to the driven swing arm. The actuating mechanism is drivable by the second motor drive unit to vertically move the carriage relative to the upright column.

  • Publication number: 20130264798
Abstract: An infant stroller apparatus includes a rear leg frame including a first side segment, a handle having a second side segment, and a hinge structure assembled with the first and second side segments. The hinge structure includes a first and a second coupling part, and a latch. The first coupling part is pivotally connected with the first side segment. The second coupling part is affixed with the second side segment and is pivotally connected with the first coupling part. The latch is operable to lock the first coupling part with the second coupling part to block rotation of the second coupling part relative to the first coupling part about the second pivot axis. When the stroller apparatus is in a deployed state, a distal end of the second coupling part faces a rear surface of the first side segment, and the latch engages with the first coupling part at a location above the distal end.

  • Publication number: 20130264799
Abstract: An infant stroller apparatus includes a rear leg frame including a first side segment, a handle having a second side segment formed by at least a first and a second tubular member telescopically assembled with each other, an impeding part assembled with the second side segment and operable to create an interference that blocks retraction of the second tubular member into the first tubular member, and an armrest pivotally connected with the second side segment and provided with an actuating member disposed adjacent to the impeding part. A rotation of the armrest in a direction for collapsing the infant stroller apparatus can cause a displacement of the actuating member, which drives the impeding part in movement to remove the interference and allow retraction of the second tubular member into the first tubular member.

  • Publication number: 20130184088
Abstract: An infant care apparatus includes a base, a reciprocating vertical motion mechanism, a vertical motion driving module, a reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism, and a pendulum motion driving module. The vertical motion driving module is kinematically connected to the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism so as to vertically move the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism in reciprocating vertical motion with respect to the base. The pendulum motion driving module is kinematically connected to the reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism so as to pendulum move the reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism in reciprocating pendulum motion with respect to the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism. An interaction between a reciprocating vertical motion of the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism and a reciprocating pendulum motion of the reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism forms a specific motion path.

  • Patent number: 8459665
Abstract: A foldable stroller frame includes a seat frame assembly, and a leg tube assembly including a front leg tube, a rear leg tube, and a pivot joint connected between the front and rear leg tubes and connected pivotally to the seat frame assembly. A link is connected pivotally to a handle tube at one end thereof and to the pivot joint at the other end. Two supporting tubes are connected respectively to the seat frame assembly and the leg tube assembly. A drive member is connected among the rear leg tube, the handle tube, and the supporting tubes, in such a manner to allow for rotation of the handle tube relative to the drive member. When said handle tube is rotated relative to said drive member, said drive member is activated to result in rotation of said seat frame and leg tube assembly, and said stroller frame is converted between unfolded and fully folded states.

  • Publication number: 20130119626
Abstract: An attachment structure and a stroller therewith are disclosed. The stroller includes a stroller frame, a tray, and the attachment structure. The attachment structure is used for attaching the tray to the stroller frame includes a first engaging structure and a second engaging structure disposed on the tray and the stroller frame oppositely. The first engaging structure has a first hole; the second engaging structure has a pivot post and a flexible retaining portion formed on the pivot post. The pivot post passes through the first hole. The flexible retaining portion is capable of hooking the first hole for preventing the pivot post from being disengaged from the first hole. Thereby, the operation of attaching the tray to the stroller frame can be simple and time-saved, and the attachment structure still can be strong enough even without additional hardware and steel members.

  • Patent number: 8317265
Abstract: A car seat includes a seat member on which the child is transported and a separable base member that is mounted to the vehicle seat via the vehicle seat belt which is passed through side openings in the base member and trapped in a belt latch apparatus to secure the base member to the vehicle seat. The seat member is mounted on the base member in either a forward-facing orientation or a rear-facing orientation. The base member includes a pair of upper and lower recline slots that receive latch pins securing the seat member to the base member. A recline apparatus carried by the seat member engages a central control rack on the base member to lock the seat member in a selected recline position. In the rear-facing position, the seat member is positionable in different orientations to compensate for the angle at which the vehicle seat is formed.

  • Patent number: 8141895
Abstract: A stroller comprises a support frame and a handle, and a seat assembled between the support frame and the handle. A front leg is coupled with a rear leg via a first pivot link, and a side segment of the handle is movable relative to the front and rear leg. The seat has a front portion pivotally connected with the front leg, and a rear portion pivotally connected with the side segment of the handle. The side segment is in stable abutment against a contact region of the support frame adjacent to the first pivot link for supporting the seat. For folding the stroller, the handle is moved in a first direction that raises the side segment above the support frame for displacing the contact region of the support frame in a forward direction to a disengaged position out of reach for the lower end portion of the side segment.

  • Patent number: 8087725
Abstract: A car seat includes a vertically adjustable head rest and harness support apparatus that will properly locate the position of the harness relative to the child in response to the positioning of the head rest. The head rest is movable along a curved track to provide horizontal clearance with respect to the vehicle head rest when in a fully raised position. The harness belt is trapped in a length adjustment lock and follows a path that extends around a fixed guide bar at the top of the car seat frame then downwardly through a guide member that directs the belt through an opening in the seat back for engagement with the child. The guide member is supported on a harness control tube that engages a rack device to fix the position of the harness control tube when the position of the head rest is selected.
