  • Patent number: 6062902
Abstract: A connector assembly for use in connecting an intracardiac catheter having a bare end connector to a patient monitor. The assembly includes an adapter, a terminal block and a cable. The adapter has an elongate insulating conductive member defined by an intermediate portion and opposite ends. A first connector is electrically connected to and is mounted at one end of the conductive member and a second connector is disposed at the other end of the conductive member. The first connector includes a first terminal connected to the conductive member for electrically engaging a bare pin connector in a surrounding relation and a tubular insulating cover extending from the one end of the adapter for telescopingly receiving the first terminal and the bare pin connector. The second connector includes a second terminal connected to the conductive member and extending from the other end of the conductive member and an insulating skirt mounted on the second connector in surrounding relation to the second terminal.

  • Patent number: 5290140
Abstract: A cart for transporting and moving die sets having an air powered/hydraulic fluid drive system to move the cart and die sets thereon. A hydraulic pump is driven by an air pressure powered motor and different hydraulic motors move the cart and move the die sets on the cart. A laterally movable die set transfer device is connected to one die set in one adjacent stamping press and to a second die set positioned on the cart to move the first die set from the one press and to move the second die set off the cart and into a second press.

Date of Patent: March 1, 1994
    Assignee: Chrysler Corporation
Inventors: Robert E. Henderson, Richard L. Sanders
  • Patent number: 5120179
Abstract: A movable die support cart using a hydraulic drive powered by pressurized hydraulic fluid and having a frame structure including at least one continuous tubular beam with closed ends to define an interior space used as a reservoir for the hydraulic fluid.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5088752
Abstract: A movable die support cart with a frame structure supported by spaced axles consisting of continuous beams extending parallel to the axles and continuous plate members extending normal to the beams and beneath the beams. Each plate member is configured with an upwardly curved arch between its end portions. The beams and plate members are attached together by welds to define an upwardly convex die support surface in the unloaded condition and a flatter surface in the loaded condition.

  • Patent number: 5076092
Abstract: In a stamping press, a support assembly for a die set including a cylindrical roller mounted on spring means of sufficient strength so that the cylindrical roller normally supports a die set slightly above a press's bolster surface for easy movement thereover but yieldable in response to strong mounting forces generated between the die and the press to permit engagement of the die against the bolster surface.

  • Patent number: 5040403
Abstract: In a stamping operation using several presses, a new group of dies must be substituted for an old group of dies in a rapid manner for efficient use of the press line. A method for rapid exchange of dies includes: loading and unloading a die sets on to and off of transporter carts in a remote area from the presses to permit press operation during this time; moving the carts and new die sets into positions adjacent the presses; simultaneously moving an old die set out of a press and onto the cart and moving a new die set off of the cart and into another adjacent press.

  • Patent number: 5040404
Abstract: Apparatus and a system for changing die sets in stamping presses including movable die set support carts which are positioned in a remote pre-staging or loading (and unloading) area when the presses are being used for stamping and which are positioned adjacent the presses to load a new die set into the press from one cart and to simultaneously unload an old die set from the press to another cart during a die set changing procedure.

  • Patent number: 4738639
Abstract: An electrical plug includes a main plug body defining a cavity with a first fuse receptacle embedded in the cavity. A male electrical connector and second fuse receptable are connected to each other to form an insert, both the first and second fuse receptacles having a substantially hollow cylindrical shape, with the second fuse receptacle including an inward projection adapted to trap a fuse in the second receptacle, wherein the insert is removably received in the outer end section of the plug cavity so that the first and second fuse receptacles are aligned and the male electrical connector extends outside of the plug.
