  • Patent number: 6768474
Abstract: An antenna attachment device and method that can attach to a vertical or angled structural member such as, for example, a vertical or an angled antenna tower leg, and that can support a mounting pipe at a desired angle such as, for example, in a vertical position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 20, 2002
Date of Patent: July 27, 2004
    Assignee: SPX Corporation
    Inventor: Robert E. Hunt
  • Publication number: 20040135047
Abstract: An assembly and method for connecting a anti-rotation arm of an antenna structure to a support structure such as an antenna tower member accommodates angular differences between the anti rotation rod and the tower member, and accommodates attachment to various types of anti rotation rods, and/or various cross sectional types of tower members.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 31, 2002
    Publication date: July 15, 2004

  • Patent number: 5148180
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for passive direction finding that demines the sideband and angle of arrival of an incoming radio signal. A four-channel superheterodyne receiver generates quadrature between the radio signals received by each channel. Four inphase/quadrature phase detectors are connected to the receiver for generating inphase and quadrature components of the electrical phase differences between antenna elements of the receiver. The inphase and quadrature components are used for sideband determination and the electrical phase differences are used to derive the angle of arrival.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 15, 1991
Date of Patent: September 15, 1992
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
Inventors: Ralph K. Beyer, Robert E. Hunt
  • Patent number: 4676122
Abstract: A mechanical drive system for driving a syringe, or other fluid infusion system, over extended period of times, which drive system also provides manual advance and quick release features. Manual advance and quick release is selectively provided by mechanically decoupling the gear train from the syringe drive mechanism.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 16, 1986
Date of Patent: June 30, 1987
    Assignee: Daltex Medical Sciences, Inc.
Inventors: Anthony W. Szabo, Robert E. Hunt
  • Patent number: 4243960
Abstract: A method and device for adjusting the center frequency after fabrication of surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices by the deposition of a nonconducting coating which alters the SAW propagation velocity of the device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 14, 1978
Date of Patent: January 6, 1981
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
Inventors: David J. White, Carl N. Helmick, Jr., Robert E. Hunt
  • Patent number: 4106661
Abstract: An apparatus for sealing a pressurized vessel comprising a hemispherical ped door with an outer rigid surface, an insulating material, an inner rigid material with a flange affixed thereto, and a supporting member for use in combination with lock and hinge mechanisms, the flange on the door cooperating with an inflatable seal that is seated within a groove positioned on the inside surface of the mouth of the vessel.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 3, 1977
Date of Patent: August 15, 1978
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Army

  • Patent number: 4042449
Abstract: A method of producing an optical reticle and the reticle produced thereby. thin layer of aluminum is deposited on the face of a sapphire substrate and a reticle pattern is chemically etched therein. The system is then exposed to air at an elevated temperature for approximately one hour to oxidize the remaining aluminum layer. A film of titanium is next placed over the rough aluminum oxide as by sputtering, for example, and the excess titanium is etched away by the same pattern to produce the finished reticle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 1976
Date of Patent: August 16, 1977
Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy
